It’s in a lovely area, don’t have any improvements
As an exchange student, I strongly believe that the University of Bath has really good facilities, it is modern and has a wonderful Sports Training Village (although maybe some fees are so expensive). Regarding academic level, I don't feel is that high as it is said. All units of my Mathematical course are easier that the equivalent in Spain: less content and less in-depth look than, for example, in Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where the level is so high. On the other hand, I think that the quantity of lectures time weekly is more appropriate (only 12-15 hours of class allow you to work yourself on the content and study on your own). In addition, professors are complete professionals and make sure everything is understandable and understood by all the students. In general, it is an enriching experience to study in University of Bath but if you want more in-depth or theoretical study, go to Spain. Thank you.
Improve access to sports facilities. Lots of them are not being used during the day but can’t be booked
It is a great Uni with great facilities only criticism is being placed in city accommodation with not great busses.
Poor nightlife and the campus feels very 1970s
I love the stv
Great course, beautiful city night life stinks tho
Gym is super expensive, but the study spots are next level. Accomodation a bit run down but great team running it.
The best aspect of bath uni is the real community feel. If you ever have a problem someone is always there to help, whether it be a student leader or a professor. The range of societies is amazing and the activities that take place are incredibly varied so there’s something for everyone. The level of teaching is incredible and after every lecture I feel like I’ve learnt so much. Honestly the only thing about the uni that isn’t absolutely amazing is the look of the campus as obviously it’s not the prettiest but that’s so easy to look past due to the really high standard of everything else.
I would love to see an improvement in the support to the makerspace society in order to help students to have more access to useful tools and resources for personal and school projects.
I love the welcoming air of the campus and the amount of different experiences that the uni and the city offer. However, I would say there is insufficient financial support in place for those without support from their families, and it is a very expensive city to live in which creates a barrier for low income students.
The course are really good and relevant to the subject. But the student union is not that good
Best is the socials and course specific trips and labs, worst is the cost of living and location of campus
Its a really good university and it could be more improved by having more one to one support for students.
Very good teaching and support within the uni. Very dedicated placements team which is a massive pro Campus does look slightly tired and there are limited study spaces, which is becoming an increasing issue as the number of students increases

Bath is a highly rated university with an excellent reputation and world-class facilities. The campus is relatively small, and can be walked from end to end in 15 minutes. Some of the buildings don't look very appealing, but the School of Management building is amazing. Good student support, especially for students with disabilities. The city itself is stunning. However, it is pretty small, the nightlife is not particularly great if you're concerned about this (but Bristol is next door), and housing is rather expensive.
The only real complaints that I have is there is not nearly enough study space for the vast numbers of students! And that the buses are so rubbish they don’t go into one student area anymore and the queues are so long that I know lots of people that end up ubering too and from which is terrible environmentally but necessary. I think the student community and sports facilitates are incredible I would recommend bath to any sports player in a heartbeat.
Best- commute, academic workload & balance with personal life
It’s really supportive and a inclusive environment fostering a calm vibe where it helps me to focus best on my work and also meet new prowl by connecting with so many other students in the University
