Paramedic Science

University rating (5)

Best- My course is absolutely amazing! It consists of 2 years of uni with integrated placements, the 3rd year is a full paid working year on the ambulance, and then the 4th year is back to uni with integrated placements. This allows for a fantastic experience to gain clinical knowledge alongside gaining all the relevant learning at University. Worst- If i had to pick the worst aspect of University it would be finishing at 5pm and hitting all the traffic to get home.

FIRST YEAR

Advanced Biomedical Engineering MSc

University rating (5)

The best aspect of my university experience has been the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in Advanced Biomedical Engineering, a field that truly fascinates me. The access to cutting-edge research, advanced lab facilities, and expert faculty has been invaluable in shaping my understanding. Additionally, being part of an international academic environment has allowed me to collaborate with diverse minds, gaining new perspectives and ideas. On the other hand, the most challenging aspect has been adapting to a new academic system and balancing coursework with personal projects. The workload can sometimes be overwhelming, and adjusting to a different country while managing academic expectations has been a demanding yet rewarding journey. However, these challenges have also helped me grow both personally and professionally, making the experience all the more enriching.

The best part of university experience is that I have support whenever I seek for help, my supervisors are the best. The worse experience is when I have to balance work, study and family time.. it adds pressure on me. But I am trying to balance it

Plenty of help and support from all staff. Plenty of learning spaces and self study rooms that cater for everyone’s needs.
