overall, i wish i didn't choose here. UAL is literally a commercial university. Every decision they made is not for tutors, students, technician but for the money. For example, we have only one technician in ceramic workshop. if he is sick or take a day off the workshop is closed and also he have to take care everything so his attitude sometimes is really bad. we asked the uni to hire one more assistant or even a student who can assist him. no respond at all just dont come here

Fine Art: Drawing BA (Hons)

Only 2 days of attendance were enough for me to never want to set foot in Camberwell College of Arts again. Firstly, the tutors are unprofessional and quite untalented. During their speech, one of them even admitted that they are "not experts". This statement can be taken as pure modesty, but to me, it is unprofessional and ridiculous. I don't want to be taught by a person, who is more than honest about his unqualified self. Not a single person there thinks about art firstly as a craft, and secondly as a manner of expression. Art for the people at Camberwell is some sort of weird way of expressing one's laziness, one's inability, and one's reluctance to learn even the basics of drawing and painting. I saw the least talented and capable artists in that school. The so called "artists" there think that you don't need to learn how to draw, in order to be a successful artist. The only think you need, according to the things I have heard and seen, is to make up a conception, which is supposed to defend your ugly, dull and tasteless piece of "art". The saddest part of the story is that UAL, judging from online website ranking, is the second best art university in the world. Don't make the mistake of going to that university and to be lured by the "excellent" reviews of Camberwell. If you are really into art, you are going to be disappointed. 2 days were enough for me to be sure that dropping out is the best decision I have ever made. Your time is too precious to waste 3 mind-numbing years in Camberwell.
