Thoroughly enjoying uni. So far - it has been really getting back into learning + making new friends.
Teaching here has a personal touch to it since classes aren't huge
Re-open the rooftop bar!
Yes busses run every 10 minutes beside my house + takes 5-10mins to get into town.
Living somewhat far away, unable to find a society or group where I fit in has left me feeling isolated.
#1 Uni for postgrad games in EU according to Princeton Review
Few contact hours intentionally so
Brand new studio
Too far from the university and reasonable price.
No, too far!
Lots of time for you. Lecturers want to see you do well and help with careers
I've been able to get scholarships and research opportunities from tutors
Variety of aspects covered
can get access to needed facilities
In the centre of town, so near to everything
Fantastic mental health and disability support
It's ok for a small uni
Counselling was most helpful
Dislike: Lectures feel rushed, sometimes
Not really, I live in forfar
I'm really pleased with the academic aspects of my experience - tutors are helpful and knowledgeable. I only wish criminology wasn't so heavenly based on policing and expanded more in other areas.
While there are support services, a lot of them focus on jobs not relevant to my area of study and interest.
Course it's really interesting and lecturers are truly amazing and very helpful
While representation is very good, facilities are lacking.
Lived in halls during my first year and thought it was really good, although location was a bit inconvenient.
Lack of spaces for students to socialise in, a lot of computer rooms
It's in the city centre so there are a lot of amenities available
There are many options available, so everyone can find something for themselves
Academic support is great, a bit disappointed with counselling and career advice services
Student union recently closed a large part of the building and therefore there is only a cafe left.
Yes, it's situated in the city centre
