London is one of the best cities in the world. Diverse, full of life, with everything on your doorstep. The public transport links are amazing- you can get to anywhere you like! It is, however, extortionately priced for a student and sometimes isolating. I don’t go out after dark as I think it can be quite dangerous, especially as a women.

Pros: - en-suite - kitchen has everything you need - fairly good price (£230/week) Cons: - security aren’t helpful - area feels unsafe at times - my block is the only one without a lift and I’m on the top floor - several rooms are larger but yet they pay the same price

There's plenty of variety in choice, I'm currently studying the Habsburg Monarchy as well as the Soviet Union so there is plenty of chance to find an area of history you love

London can be very expensive, however it is made up for by the massive variety of things to do and places to go. Parks are beautiful (and free). We have found a huge variety of places to eat meat UCL main campus for not too much money too

Although Ifor is one of the furthest accommodations, it's in Camden so there is plenty to do in the area. Ifor is catered, although done nights the food is basically inedible, I have given up going to breakfast altogether. I did ask for a ground floor room due to disability and I was put on the 2nd floor with no lift, however this isn't too much of an issue, I just take it slow. I'm terms of maintenance and WiFi: WiFi is always down, waters always cold, sinks always blocked, at least one toilet out of order, never fixed our kettle and the rooms look like they haven't been decorated since the 90s

Lecturers just copy off notes in live lectures (live lectures are a bit useless), tutors never stay in contact, barely any support for careers

Central london is amazing

Money was too much, barely any maintenance, kitchen had rats one time and no reimbursement was given for food

I really enjoy it but I'm not sure it’s relevant as it is interdisciplinary thus dependent on other department ! But of course some subjects are more interesting than others.

Due to covid everything was moved online even though we had a few face to face classes that were pretty useless as it was just revision of the video lectures they send us and not more of a question and answer session to solve doubts.

The best aspect is that I consider all the modules to be relevant to the subject. The worst aspect is I sometimes feel like the lecturers are not really on top of us and don't really track how we are keeping up with the course.
