Great support from lectures however, support from student services for students with additional needs on an evening (work-based) course have less support than daytime students. Not too sure who or what the student union is (that is why I have stared a 1). Lots of information for the course is provided once started and you are able to message when needed and receive a reply within 24 hours. There is a library, Costa and lots of space for out of lecture work.
Lots of support from tutors and reply time is quick. Course content is relevant and support is provided when you cannot find anything. Work placement is based on where you work so not relevant to the course. Career prospect is varied and informed during the course so far. ebook system has so many books available which is great.
There isn’t much to do in the area if you’re looking for nightlife or accommodation. Nice for a quieter uni life. The lecturers are very helpful, knowledgeable and work really hard. Facilities are great. Smaller classes than other universities which add to the experience. The uni is mixed in with College years so is busy at some times of the day. Same with any University though.
Really good lecturers and facilities. Not too sure o no the career aspect yet as in first year and still learning. Lots of advice given, companies and websites to use in the industry.
If you want a degree from Surrey then this might be for you. You will have minimal support or help but the workload is manageable. The university centre is used by all aspects of the college so is full of GCSEs etc students so very loud. They have struggled with online teaching and finding enough teachers for the courses. The assignments change all the time and even last minute. Nothing is planned in advance or with a contingency. I would have not picked this course or university if I had to again
Library is very limited (both online and physical library.) You cannot use laptops in classrooms etc as must be kept in specific areas
If you actively ask they will provide information but you have to do all the leg work. The university will not tell you what you can get it’s your responsibility to understand what benefits are available to you. The information isn’t easily displayed either.
These have never been done or offered.
Local area is for business so not a lot of night life but good transport links. The university instead has no social clubs or events
Very low teaching hours. Online ( due to covid ) normally in class

The work placements are more based for the technical part of the college. Nothing really university based.
