Student reviews at University Centre Bishop Burton?
Uni accommodation has black mould though they will tell you it’s condensation. Never been soo poorly in my life. I was coughing up blood and couldn’t breathe . The accommodation is over priced for what you get.
The staff are not aware of the policies surrounding covid. I was sent home when i got covid . This was not allowed and never reimbursed. Sooooooo disappointed with the college.
Many equine students feel the need to be better than others. I’m an equine myself and have kept horses all my life. I had no idea the equine world was full of rich bullies feeling the need to drag you down to make themselves feel better.
The actual course I’m on is fab the teachers help and explain things clearly lots of reminders about upcoming hand in dates.
It seems to be the accommodation, student services, and policies that let this uni down.

I have loved my time at Bishop burton, it's been fun and creative in an amazing place to learn, I have had to the opportunity to enter Harrogate flower show, create some amazing flower designs and meet some friends I will keep in contact with for ever, as an older student I was apprehensive about going back into education but it's been amazing, I have a degree and working towards my BA which I never thought I would achieve.
Overall my experienced with the university has been good. There will always be a part of any university that you don’t like for example the accommodation buildings have to be emptied twice a year which means that within 9 months you will ave to move out 3 times. However the head of my course and other lecturers within my course have been amazing. They are always pushing you to be the best and inspire future generations. I’m very proud to have been a student at Bishop Burton and think anybody looking to go into Animal welfare, training, behaviour or conservation should definitely consider a place at bishop Burton.

For college, Bishop Burton was pretty good
For university I was counting down the days till I could get the hell out of there, really wouldn't recommend it whatsoever unless you know you'll never have any problems with anything, pretty much just bad as a university, surprised they were even allowed to be one
This college is very unsupportive, and very unhelpful i had a mental health breakdown so got kicked out of accommodation, not allowed to social events and i was given no support at all in the course despite having Disabled student.
The staff never gave you the assignments back on time, didn't give you feedback or not alot
