I am really enjoying the course, learning new things are improving every week. I feel it is very beneficial and useful learning what I am and I see this course being successful in the future
Gives lots of opportunities offer many jobs in the industry to help a long career
I enjoy the interaction with the lecturers and the specific details on the course
Could have more practice rooms with pianos and computers need improving, as well as the specialist software on the computers
Good support with both academic and personal
I think it is early to say as years 1 and 2 are training but year 3 is targeted towards employability
-Mixed -Some lessons it feels tutors struggle to fill the time -some are very useful and learned a lot
-Need free sanitary products -Sometimes lack space for independent work in lesson time or recreational
Some lessons seem more worth it than others, but I feel like that happens anywhere
A lot of progression into the industry afterwards
I absolutely love the course and it's very suited to me
I really like the facilities but I feel there could be more social spaces
Always asked if everything is ok and I'm sure they will help in the future
What I have learnt so far is invaluable to my training as an actor and I am excited for what the future has to come. The Arden matches up to any other drama school when it comes to the core training provided.
We have visiting industry professionals keeping us engaged
I like most how hands on and practical all the lessons are, however communication between staff could be improved to ensure we arent taught the same things repeatedly
The Ardens facilities are fantastic, the studios are beautiful. However, the canteen is shared with the college students which isnt ideal.
Academically, tutors are great with feedback and supporting you and many are easily reached by email or a quick natter outside. In terms of counselling etc, staff will listen but there is very much a 'handle it yourself' mantra. Counselling and further support is available, but should be better advertised/offered.
Most of my tutors have been extremely supportive towards my academic studies. They have really pushed me and helped me achieve some fantastic results
I had to find my own placement college did not help. Career adviser was poor and did not offer any help or support
I have a few that are extremely engaging and informative
Clean, early access plenty of computers and WiFi
My tutors were my main support
Overall I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the college. The teaching has been very informative and the support amazing
They point you in the direction that will help your progress further
The variety of assignment methods have been great
Always someone available if needed
At the moment my experience is very poor. There seems to be no consistency with standards, misled information, a lot of disruptions to lessons and I am currently not enjoying my time at UCEN. I would also seem there is a lot of animosity between staff which is effecting my learning and this has impacted on my grades
Industry based practice lesson is very useful
Can't say I have received outstanding support feedback on work is useful
Compared to my previous experience really good experience
The teaching that has really create confidence in the ok how to go about my employability
What I like is some of the course has given me lots of knowledgeable in my coaching background. I do not like is not having enough computers in the college.
The time spent in UCEN so far has been an enjoyable experience which has led to gain new knowledge. The college has challenged many skills and allowed me to develop and improve overall
Through discussions and practical within the sessions it is good. Ideas for the future work, the course could be more on one with work placements
The lecturers are very knowledgeable and are good at getting their points across
The college facilities are basic they do have computers/library however as its or sport case could be more useful with indoor/outdoor facilities
The feedback of the lectures are useful and helpful for recruitment/education
The course as been good, however the resources and organisation not the best
I don't believe it does. We are getting a degree that gets you interviewer and does not give you all the skills required.
Technology does not always work. i.e. internet, staff struggle with computers working heating issues
