MA Composing for Video Games

University rating (1)

I recently dropped out of the composing for video games course, they never contacted me once to check in and see how I was. Whenever I asked for help I got sent free YouTube videos so I really don't see the value in the course and I have been treated incredibly poorly and unprofessionally, they just took my money and said sorry about that.

MFA Video Game Music and Audio

University rating (5)

The lecturers are phenomenal, really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The admin staff feel like extended family. They really care and are all active on the school’s discord server. The course has been great. As a student you feel supported and given opportunity to grow and develop as a sound designer/composer. The course is well designed, and overall the entire courses on Thinkspace are well-versed in industry standards/current practice. Pastoral care is second to none, helped with issues every step of the way. Four days after my course finished, I met a games studio and had a job offer within a month. This absolutely would not have been possible without Thinkspace. I cannot express how happy I am that I chose this school and course. Absolutely brilliant.

Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

Generally it has been a very positive experience for me, allowing me to focus on the areas I wanted to going in. But also pushing me to develop my skills in areas such as coding which I hadn't previously considered.
