International Business Management BSc (Hons)

University rating (4)

It's a very central location in southampton, close to the train station and the city centre. Very well internationally connected, with partnerships at universities all over the world. The teaching could be improved as students feel they are not prepared for assignments and we don't have enoiugh contact time with tutors

Sports Therapy

University rating (3)

The best aspects of the uni experience is making friends with people on your course and in your students halls. This is the best way to get yourself out there and be as friendly as possible to everyone around you. The modern faculties at uni make sports therapy a great course to study as everything is new. The worse part is the size of the university, It's not very big therefore you get stuck in one place throughout the whole time doing your course.

Psychology BSc (Hons)

I enjoy the location, being close to the city centre and within a 15 min walk to the docks. I have found settling into uni quite good despite being 200 miles away from home, and I have found that support from my lecturers has been really good when necessary. They have made it accessible to book office hours, and you're treated like an adult, unlike in sixth form when we were treated like children and as though we didn't have a voice. However, I have found a friendship between the lecturers and students as they want you to do well and are willing to support you. I think the only thing to improve would be to make it more known of the help for future employability, and aiding students in how they wish to shape their future!

Interior Design Decoration BA (Hons)

University rating (4)

My course has a fantastic amount of support for students and has a lot of facilities that are on offer to us, including online software. The only thing that I do not like is actually out of the Universities control but there are some things that could be done by the University to make you feel a bit safer. There are some issues surrounding the parks around Southampton and I feel a lot more awareness of this and safety options need to be spoken about. Offering alarms or more security around when students are leaving would be beneficial. (Day and evening.)

Business Management BSc (Hons)

University rating (4)

I feel generally it’s a great place to study due to its resources. Whether it’s in the Spark or using the Library there’s many places where you can take a seat and get some work done. Additionally, we have access to food and confectionary making those free periods worth while and bridging the gaps between getting work done and breaking to find food. The universities facilities are great, specifically the sports complex and it’s A grade basketball court.

One thing I’ll say about the uni is that there’s lots of clubs around which is great if you like nightlife. The income team are also very understanding.
