I am happy with the course. My tutors are very approachable and have supported me when I got stressed out about my work. Nikki is very supportive too. She is always ready to help
They are pretty good actually. Fast internet and an online library that has a lot of resources
I am happy with the support I get at college
I like how the tutors are flexible and happy to see you out of class time. I don't like how the course deadlines are set. The dissertation deadline is a bit too close considering we have three assignments to do with it

We had the careers advisor come in to see us and give us information about what our next steps can be. There is a careers office in the reception area that can be accessed anytime
Thank you for your feedback
In regards to overall facilities, the college is satisfactory. Classrooms and HE facility are well maintained and provide suitable learning environments. The way in which lecturers conduct classes, however, require major improvements. Feedback to course queries are handled appropriately and timely. To improve feedback on assignment work, however, lecturers should prioritize it more for students.
College facilities are well maintained overall. The HE center, in particular, is a relaxing and quiet place to study, if necessary. Computer systems in classrooms require improvements, as occasionally they have not logged on correctly or are slow.
Overall responses to course queries are responded to in an appropriate and timely manner. Feedback for assignment work, however, needs to be more of a priority for lecturers.
The classrooms are well maintained and provide a comfortable learning environment. The manner in which lecturers conduct the course, however, needs significant improvement. Lectures usually do not start on time and are often uninteresting. Content that lecturers present is usually presented on a blank PowerPoint presentation with black text on a white background. To further improve student engagement, slides and content should be given more dynamic backgrounds and pictures. Overall communication outside of the classroom is satisfactory.

By accessing the Solihull College main website, they offer regular open events and course applications. Other opportunities for further development include becoming an apprentice, university level or a part-time learner.
Thank you for your feedback
Good so far
Could be better

Just one session for last 4 months
Thank you for your feedback
It has gone well so far, this will be my third year at uni and I feel I have progressed massively from the first year. I feel I am developing as a person and uni has helped me to do that. I have enjoyed my uni experience.
They are ok but could be better.
They offer counselling services for students. Academic services are good also, our feedback comes back on time and it is usually in depth.
I like the teachers we have, they are very knowledgable and that's allows us to use them in the best way.
9
They offer careers advice to us. Careers come into our lessons to have discussions with us about our future prospects.
Thank you for your feedback
It's ok, the uni centre is good and the set up is good. I feel very supported and was helped a lot by Nike before I started. The lesson are engaging and interesting

I have always enjoyed uni, I have learnt a lot about myself and I have enjoyed the progression since starting uni.
Regarding the online library, the online access is useful. However, shortage of books and only selected copies is challenges.
Tutor wise yes. However, I do have learning difficulties and I feel the support is very limited within the college.
i like that the tutors are helpful

I have always been supported in this area
Thank you for your feedback
The experience I've had so far is great and I feel that I'm prepared and knowledgable enough to work in the chosen field, I know for a fact I have chose the right place to learn and develop
They are useful and convenient
The tutors are super helpful and supportive and will work around you with meeting deadlines (within reason), completing assignments and learning.
I like the ongoing support we have available to us at all times as we are able to contact tutors through email and get an almost instant response, the lectures are also informative.

In the past years I've had to have a placement and they are helpful with arranging it, there are many transferable skills that we learn within the course without realising we are learning a valuable skill, this enables us to use them in different job roles
Thank you for your feedback
I enjoy the facilities and hardware we are able to use and I find the tutor support quite nice. I do feel like the workload could be a little more distributed as it can pile up at times and be very daunting.
The rooms we use have all the required equipment and hardware that is needed to conduct our course and the rooms are fairly comfortable.
The tutors are well versed in all the areas that are required for us to know and are ready and willing to help us at a moments notice. They also make strives to help us improve our academic portfolios and try to make sure that we have the skills necessary to progress in the industry
I like how their is a lot more creative freedom in how we undergo course work and we are allowed to undertake tasks in a manner that suits us. What I like least is the massive workload as there is not much time to fully give proper attention to all the work being given and the work may suffer because of it.

The college encourages us to go on trips to learn about employability and we are also encouraged to hunt for jobs before we've graduated so that we can have a placement before we finish
Thank you for your feedback
It has been good, tutors are supportive and have given good feedback on my work. There is a lot of work to fit in for a 1 year course but there is plenty of information on moodle and the library has good resources.
College has good facilities, plenty of resources at the library.
The tutors are supportive and the feedback is useful.
The tutors are supportive and will make time to speak to you on a one to one basis.

There is a careers advice area, I haven't had any experience of this yet though.
Thank you for your feedback
So far, the experience has been positive. My tutor has provided outstanding support and has always gone above and beyond to provide me with guidance and support.
Okay, could be better if we had access to Newman university's library considering we are Newman university students.
Most of the time, tutors provide effective feedback and provide support where necessary. There are some occasions where I have had to wait for a lengthy time for a reply via email. However, on the whole, the tutors provide personalised support and individual guidance.
I enjoy learning new context which is relevant to my workplace setting. For example, how to promote inclusion for children with SEND. I do not always enjoy learning about legislation, despite this being important and a necessary component of SEND practice.

This has not been relevant to me, as I work full time alongside studying.
