The annual Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) highlight the incredible work carried out by institutions for their students. Due to Covid restrictions, this year’s awards were not collected on uni campuses as usual, but instead based on submissions from institutions, which were then judged by our special student panel.

Selby College is an excellent college, having experienced their Sixth Form Academy and currently experiencing Higher Education at the college. My favourite aspect of the college is the staff - who are incredibly supportive and care about the students - unlike some of my experiences in other institutions. Selby College are excellent at bridging the gap between education and employment through practical education.
Selby is a relatively small town, however it has a surprisingly good nightlife - with numerous pubs, clubs and bars in the town centre, only a 20 minute walk from the college. In terms of shopping, Selby itself is limited to a handful of shopping outlets not far from the college. However, Selby College is only a 20 minute drive, or 35 minute bus journey from both York Designer Outlet and Junction 32 Shopping Outlet near Castleford. Selby has excellent transport links with the nearby cities of Leeds, York and Hull - particularly by train, with Leeds being a 24 minute train journey from Selby and Selby Train Station being only a 15 minute walk from the college.
Selby college is extremely poor quality learning. With bad tuition and bad engineering facities. The engineering faculty dont have the texhnical knowledge to answer assignments or teach them.
Poor quality tuition and learning eith lecturers marking their marking schemes from your submitted work. Work given without tuition and very commonly no reply from lecturers when support is needed
Not been introduced to it.
Good food hall, and computer access. Most rooms are horrifically hot in summer.
