Very good experience in Swansea University.
Great for engineering, since the campus is mainly focused on engineering, staff are great and very friendly. They ease you in very nicely, and don't pile on work. Very focused on student feedback, and they care about students opinions
The best part of Swansea University is the facilities. Specifically for engineering, having an entire campus dedicated to STEM is a massive advantage, with engineering facilities unmatched by any other university. When choosing univeristy after A-levels, Swansea University was a clear choice after I visited for an Open Day. Worst part: Bay Campus (STEM campus) is slightly out of the town, making it slightly more difficult to reach after the first year. I personally cycled or drove and had no problem, but I know a lot of students who struggled with motivation to get to campus, as they had to rely on public transport.
Best experience is the support for student run societies, running rugby league the support we get is a huge help Worst would be the location of bay its quite far out of the city. Upto 40 minutes commute in the morning.
The location is in the next of the beach ;)
