The fact that the lecturers are extremely approachable and helpful makes your journey here a 100 times better. And I'm not just saying help with your lecture topics or courseworks, like actual help beyond academics as well. For me, this is what matters the most. It not only helps you accomplish in your studies, it also makes the process and journey much easier! And the student union exists for a lot of purposes and they somehow manage to achieve so much of it. Solving the concerns students of all cohorts bring up, curating various types of events and activities throughout the year to boost morale and so much more! This university will make your time here enjoyable and absolutely worth it.
Meeting new people Campus is cold
Student life isn’t what I was expecting. The nightlife is awful. Everything is miles away from campus though town is really nice when you get there for shopping etc. And prices are literally insane.
The facilities that they offer for my course are great however Gloucestershire is not exactly built for students, there are not many activities around to benefit students, look at your location as well as university before going
The atmosphere at this university is great! The union is always lively, with pool and darts, hot food, music and lots of room for socialising. Even when in class it feels great, the lectures are always informative and the seminars mean that the tutors can really help and talk to the students. I like the fact that each semester the students can choose their own seminar times, creating a timetable that suits their schedule. The location of this university is one of my favourite things, such a close walk to the main shopping street and some great places for food. Also close to to GCU which is great as the students can mix and hang out together. Overall this university is a great place to apply and i am very happy with the decision i made!
