PLEASE READ THIS!!!!! I am a current student at London met and i want to give my honest opinion so that you do not make the same mistake as me. DO NOT COME TO LONDON METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY!!!!!!! The teachers on my course are absolutely lovely, they are extremely helpful and really amazing teachers with lots of knowledge, but most importantly they really care about how well we are doing, that is not the problem with this university. London metropolitan university is absolutely awful, there is no other way to describe it! I have been here for over 3 months and the whole time they have wifi that does not even work! they have printers that are crap and do not even print nice images, which is a bit of an issue when you are doing a creative subject and need to print things almost every day! they have unhelpful staff in the library that have no clue how to solve computer issues! I have not been told about 1 club or uni activity that is going on! there are no groups, but most importantly Let me just double up and say THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK!!!!! HOW CAN YOU RUN A UNIVERSITY WITH NO WIFI AND EXPECT STUDENTS TO DO ONLINE WORK USING THERE 4G ALL DAY LONG!!!

Interior Architecture and Design - BA (Hons)

University rating (4)

The teachers and staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. There is also a really nice sense of community and support - everyone is very accepting. The coursework is very interesting - maybe just the facilities could be updated slightly and more materials on offer for students to use.

Lecturers are very approachable, several different studios to work from, can attend class from home if necessary Facilities are a bit dated, not clear on when studios are accessible

I like the diversity of the people you get to meet. The tutors bring into teaching real life experiences which is great and also help to see what we can expect in the industry. Teachers are supportive and patient with us, makes the workload less scary :). Also, there are endless support from the university, whatever help you need throughout youe studies, they will help you or guide towards the help you need. I'm really happy that I took the opportunity to apply to study at London MET.

This has been such a dreadful experience for me. I can’t deny the fact that I have learnt a lot and got excited many times studying interior architecture, but the tutor and their approach is awful. Tutors are very confrontational and have discussion with students all the time , through the whole year both teach and student kept complaining , there was such bad environment and I really didn’t enjoy going on site. I did complain at the first of year for the lack of support and just the way are managed but my tutor didn't listen to me. Just a week ago I went asking for a tutor a second opinion and she looked angry at me, this morning I talk throughout my topic online with the ccs tutor and she ignores me. I do not understand why tutors don’t like us. Every time I went at uni we would discuss how awful tutor would be with us. I am honestly shocked by this year teaching, I am now focusing on my degree and learn as much as I can and ignore all of this, but this is not how a university should be. This is my opinion, I am sorry but I couldn’t hide it just to be worried y’all treat me different again.
