It’s a great place to study because I feel safe and it’s an environment I can learn in. I can’t think of anyway it can be improved.

I find that the best part of this university is the staff and support available. I never feel like I haven't got any help or support. I also really enjoy my course as lecturers really make it interesting and appealing to students. I feel that the facilities at London Met need to be updated, it does feel really old except the tower building which looks lovely. Refurbishment could really add to the experience for students.

Most of the lecturer's are supportive, and give feedback to improve on your grades. However the module needs an overhaul and can be improved such as the work experience module. The catering facilities at Aldate campus, needs more food choice. The libary catalogue needs to be more user friendly, and the books and journals need to be readily available without go to a 3rd party website to obtain it. As I have found it difficult to find what I am looking for. Camera kit and studios should be easily accessible to final year students. As previously we have been informed it was booked for the first year students. Overall, this has been a good subject to study and I have gained a great deal of knowledge.

Nice atmosphere and staff and also Aldgate Campus I like very much.

Good location, facilities could be improved and more software availability for courses where needed, apps everywhere is not always reliable.

London Met doesn't look like much compared to places like Kings and Oxford, but for more modern studies such as film, fashion and sports sciences, the facilities are really great and they frequently have events/classes with professionals in their respective industries. However, compared to other universities, the range of societies is really lacking, and there's not a strong sense of being in a society even when you join one. The campus sometimes feels like a slightly oversized secondary school, but does have great features like a film studio. The student union feel a world away from everyone else despite emailing out random things fairly frequently - there's no tangible connection to them, while other university student unions and societies frequently host balls, club nights and meetings. Overall, the courses are great, but it can leave something to be desired for 'the student experience'.

I've feel so not supported at university. Only one of my teachers I find really helpful. I believe there isn't enough support at London Met. I also did a foundation year where I did have a great teacher for one of the modules. There is close to no student life, I have made no friends and keep myself to myself. Its a shame because its a lot of money to spend on a course, in something I am truly passionate about but feel very unheard whenever I ask for help or guidance.

The location is good if you ignore the crime and looking out of your window one day to see a man with a knife. I received the best counselling from a man who is no longer there but did a fantastic job, and it was free. Some of the lecturers are very passionate. However a lot of the building is dilapidated, smelly and sometimes too hot/cold. If you do a degree like Journo, Film and TV you will do 99% Journalism with the other elements more or less neglected. Certain modules (Broadcast Journalism) are diabolical, unorganised and disappointing. The student union has hardly any societies up and running compared to other universities in london. There’s a lot of reading off slides more than anything actually engaging. Overall would not recommend.
