I thoroughly enjoy my time at the RAU, the support given is amazing, with personal academic support tutors and a student hub for all other support. People at the Rau are fantastic both students and most lecturers. It is enjoyable and educational.

Rural Land Management with Professional Placement Year BSc (Hons)

University rating (4)

The university is very good at making you feel like a person rather than just a number. All the lecturers are very friendly and will offer significant support when needed. They also create a very good atmoshphere for studying. Sometimes I find the contact hours are minimal and we could do with more face to face learning. It would also be nice to go on more trips so that we can put the learning into a practical sense.

Bsc Environment and sustainability

University rating (5)

The university has a strong community and a lovely homely feel, due to it being relatively small and specialised, people from across all years are around and ready to help and include you. The student support is exceptional and very helpful with whatever problem and willing to put in the time. The catering is a bit hit and miss and could be improved but over all I am thoroughly recommending and enjoying my time here so far.

The RAU is located in a suitable environment for the courses it has to offer. The Lecturers are very knowledgeable and are invested in imparting said knowledge. The institution boasts of a very diverse student body which I am enjoying. The field visits have opened my mind to more possibilities and the support program they have available is best suited for success in various careers.

Rural Land Management BSc (Hons)

University rating (5)

The people make it the absolute best place. I think probably the worst thing about the uni would be that if you were not a specific type of person you would struggle to find friends due to the strong countryside culture of the place.

I love the small campus vibe, being able to get around from one lecture to another so easily makes being a student so much nicer. The facilities are all up to date with a great library space to complete work assigned. I have settled in extremely well and am enjoying myself so much.

Great location, the smaller size is very well suited to me and I love the community feeling. Some lecturers could be a bit more organized but overall I love the RAU.
