The best aspects have definitely been the course content and the skill provided to me. The biggest downside is the campus being slightly less accessible via public transit.
the people and the enviroment are lovely and understanding of all situations. Rose Bruford is built upon niché courses and supporting the weird so its incredibly accepting and if there are issues the staff and support are very good
Beautiful grounds surrounding college, feels out of London but close enough on train into central London. Very creative, sometimes chaotic. Wi-Fi needs improvement as often unreliable.
The best aspect is the course - Queer Performance MA is such a wonderful course and I feel so lucky to be part of it. The course leaders are great and I think it's so important that it exists. I think the only things that could be improved is some technical things like there seem to be constant internet issues and sometimes it can be really hard to get hold of technicians for prop appointments etc.
I’m studying in a course which is the first of its kind and I’m glad that Queer Performance is being supported by an institution. I studied my undergrad here too, I enjoy many aspects of the university. However it could definitely improve its internal communications between departments/facilities/access to materials, etc.
It is a nice school, and I love their willingness to create new programs.
It’s such a beautiful campus, the grounds are clearly taken really well care of and all the teachers I’ve met so far are extremely welcoming (even the ones I don’t have classes with and have never met). The only criticism I have at this time is the cafe being the only indoor space to eat as it can get a bit crowded with all the courses in winter which can be a bit overstimulating for someone with neurodiversity. Other than that, it’s wonderful!
