Arts university plymouth is a great university with amazing facilities and opportunities to learn whatever you like with workshops, i do with the student union was more established and maybe hosted more events inside and outside the university, the campus is very modern but some parts are a little dated but not necessarily in a bad way. student life is good were given the opportunity to mix with other courses which is cool but again just wish there was more events that were maybe more appealing to people to attend.

Fashion Design BA (Hons)

Lots of facilities available to use throughout the whole campus - no matter what course you are doing - you get inducted and taught how to do technical work well and the tutors are lovely and give useful feedback .

The small size of the university creates a great community feel and makes it easy to get to know staff and students quickly

THIRD YEAR

Illustration BA (Hons)

University rating (4)

I think the location of the uni is great, I love looking out to the sea on the higher levels of the uni. The facilities are great, and the support from the tutors is incredible! I definitely wouldn't be as confident in my practice now if it wasn't for their kindness, knowledge and guidance. The student union clubs could be more exciting, like surf clubs or runnning. More sports could be nice.

Painting Drawing and Printmaking BA (Hons)

University rating (3)

Some of the best aspects of AUP are the student run society, library (incredibly cozy atmosphere) and student support which is better than most. The worst aspects are due to the course I chose, the Painting, Drawing and Printmaking course is poorly run and very unorganised. Would be good if the timetable actually matches up with the tutors timetable, it has caused a lot of confusion.

Graphic Design BA (Hons)

University rating (5)

Best part is that it’s only 2 full days a week which makes a difference for me driving in. We get help when needed and feels very personal. I don’t have a worst aspect I am very impressed with everything. The only thing is that we have to pay for adobe suite software however this isn’t much of an issue
