The experience is enjoyable everyone is friendly and you are given the space to be independent. the college has wide range of activities to join in from to help integrate into the community.
Morgan hand and gold star recruitment are two of the options this college offers for students like me to gain careers or other jobs suited for them.
what i like the most about the courses is that they are engaging but on the other hand i feel like infrastructure e.g. college wifi needs to be improved because it can hinder the way we learn more efficiently.
The facilities have improved
i enjoy the city life
there is a sufficient amount of support at the college from tutors to personal counselling.
I had a really great learning experiance at the college. It really set me up for success in other courses. Couldn't have asked for more.
I like how the classes aren't too big which provides better support in learning the subject, compared to larger universities.
Newly refurbished - it's excellent
The experience at the college is very good, at times can be very demanding, but if you organised yourself, it should be all fine. all the best to all the future people that want to join the college
University help you a lot if you ask them for help. They are always there if you need to.
The classes are small and the tutor make the effort.
I like to do to the meetings they have every term to say what we think about the college
They are ok
The city is small, but there are many students
They are good
Tutors always give feedback and college helps you when you need
Very nice I think it’s very fun and met lots of great people both students and teachers
It is great. Teachers are good. Staff is goo. the city is very nice and there are many international people that you can meet. I am happy that I came to Oxford
Studying in Oxford Business College gives me a good chance to improve my English and career. If there were students who want to study in Oxford, I would recommend to study in this college.
Oxford Business College always makes great efforts to develop students' career to get good opportunities to work.
The most interesting part of my course is the abilities of tutors and diversities of teaching. All tutors have great interests in their students and they knows how to teach.
Oxford is a really beautiful city and has full of historical and educational environments. Living in Oxford always makes me peaceful and grateful.
Oxford Business College has been offering well organised support to all students which makes them great advanced. Tutors take care of their student like their family.
University changed my life: I was a sales person before, now I am CMO for an Italian car dealer, in Italy. My digital and entrepreneurial skills have improved a lot and now I can’t stop learning and improving, while before I was fine with doing the least possible. Thanks to uni, I can’t settle for the least, I just can’t get enough and I always want to do more and be the best version of me. To sum up, thanks to uni I seize the day every day: carpe diem!
In every class I managed to learn many things that are work related and all the tutors pushed us to aim higher. Many projects are on specific firms and I had the possibility to visit some of them to understand how things are done over there, so that I could make my analysis and develop a theory on it. I even wrote my CV with the help of the tutors, so that I could make an impact during some interviews. We had many classes with debate and simulations in order to expand our Emotional Intelligence. The Student Council for us was actually a “society” and we developed many transferrable skills, especially team-building and problem solving.
The thing I liked the most about the way the courses were taught is the very high amount of interaction with the tutors and the rest of the class during the lessons. In my opinion, it’s very important to get the class going in this way because nobody gets bored and everyone can learn more and more. What I liked the least is pretty hard to say because I enjoyed my course very much. Probably, what I enjoyed less was that not for all the classes there was a presentation to do face-to-face with the tutor. I say this because I love to make analysis, create power point, develop a theory, report data and talk about it. That’s because I am an ENTP-A type.
Extremely modern, especially now that OBC have renewed the facilities during the summer of 2018.
Oxford is a very nice city: it is possible to do anything. I even joined a football team, the Europa Titans, in which I was playing as a Goalkeeper for the Senior Team and I was training the U11s as well. I managed to attend many music events; I didn’t like the fact that many venues closed throughout 2018, because all the musicians, producers and artists start from those small places/clubs. Without them, British music is over. I loved the market on the Wednesday in Gloucester because I grew up going to the market on the same day in my city in Italy and I managed to know more about different cultures. Definitely, Oxford is the city of culture. If I have to find a negative point, I must say that I didn’t like the fact that some facilities were very far from the centre and pretty hard to get there with the pubblic transportation.
The support is great: the feedback is so precise and, in my case, the tutors always pushed me to do more. I am able now to think critically every time, analysing the situation and finding different solutions to a problem. I am glad to say that all the tutors are supportive, in a very human way. I received a huge help by many of the tutors when I had some problems with the agency that I had a contract with for the house in which I was staying. During a snow-storm, my boiler almost melter, so I was without heat and hot water. Some teachers helped me to fix the situation with the agency that didn’t want to do the job in 24 hours (stated on the contract). I am in contact with tutors and I am glad to say that they made me improve!
The college is great. The teachers are very helpful and will make sure that you understood the lectures. The college staff are lovely and in the heart of Oxford city center.
Lovely teachers, they will help you anytime you need them. The college is great and feels like a family.
the college facilities is easy to access
oxford is the best city in Egland
Very good! I am truly enjoying studying here. It is a very friendly environment. Teachers, students and other staff members are very welcoming and always willing to help.
In class, we always work with relevant case studies that help us to analyse different business contexts and analyse which skills and attributes are required in different business sectors and situations in the workplace.
What I like the most is that it is very interactive. Students have the opportunity to discuss and share their knowledge and experience with each other and with the teacher and teachers provide useful advice and academix support.
Good. We have two comouter rooms, a library and a kitchen space. We all feel comfortable.
Perfect for a student! Young people have the opportunity to engage in different activities around the city wirh their friends the 7 days of the week.
The number of students per lesson is reduced therefore this allows teachers to be able to assess the needs of each students and to have more time for one-on-one meetings wirh the students to provide feedback about their assignments and answer their questions
I would say that i have received the experience better than i expected. I would recommend people of any age, people from any country and people with any end goal to join Oxford Business College.
I have been at Oxford Business College for a while now and from what i have experienced so far, i could not recommend enough! The teachers, staff and fellow students are extremely friendly and supportive. The small class sizes' enable a very personal learning experience, this also means that you get to know your teacher and peers well, which in turn complements many group activities, especially a recent simulation activity in Organisational Behavior. I have already applied for jobs in the Business Sector for when i complete my course in March. I have received a couple of conditional job offers which i am really excited about. I believe that i have gained many transferable skills that i did not have previously, this will prepare me for my future in business. I gained many skills while studying a subject called developing individuals, teams and organisations. This gave me an in depth in site into my own learning style and how i can benefit from applying this during my learning process.
My favorite thing about the way the course is taught is the learning activities, i have a kinesthetic learning style therefore i find this style of teaching very helpful towards my progress in lesson. One of the main benefits of the HND is that you only do course work and the occasional presentation. This means as long as you can plan and organize your time effectively you will never be faced with the same kind of pressure as taking exams.
The college has recently been renovate so everything is new and modern. The building has plenty of space to work outside of the class room, a well equip library and computer room.
I LOVE Oxford. I feel fortunate to study in the heart of the city, some days i get a hour lunch break which gives me the opportunity to explore the hidden gems in Oxford- of which there are many.
I receive adequate support from both teachers and academic staff. Teachers are always happy to sit with me and clear up any confusions that i may have. Additionally i receive substantial feedback from teachers which aids my progress throughout the course, this is delivered by email, to the students promptly from a member of the academics team which is helpful with my deadlines.
