Good that there are office hours always available but the strikes are making it extremely difficult to feel prepared although understandable. Please pay staff more!! It’s effecting our learning

Best is creativity and course content Worst is how much group work there is and how members of the group don’t turn up or are unmotivated to do the work leaving it to their other group members and the tutors don’t do much to remedy these issues

Quizzes assessment was very good Lecturers just read from the slides and add nothing else, could be doing most of my learning at home

The lecturers aren’t very helpful and not easy to contact. The content is interesting and the opportunities are great.

The course is fun and interactive with constantly assessed and noticable growth. It leads on well from year to year, and the content and resourses that the teachers have prepared for us is outstanding. My teachers work so hard, yet they do not get the get the pay that they deserve for the amazing amount that they do. The one thing I would like to improve is having more opportunities to speak in Japanese more to Japanese native speakers. I feel this would help me to build my skills in thinking in and translating Japanese, which I feel would help me get more fluent in the language.

Would like to do more practical activities and come in on more days instead of two long days because it feels like we aren’t there for that long each week
