Brackenhurst Campus is amazing place with really friendly atmosphere. Southwell is a lovely town with cafes, pubs, co-op and a Boots. The new library is a great place to study with great resources and friendly librarians. The lecturers are really supportive and happy to help with anything whether academic or otherwise.

My time at Nottingham Trent has been overall, a wonderful experience. Brackenhurst campus is ideally situated for my course, in the middle of the countryside with plenty of protected species around to study. The relatively small number of students on campus makes for a great sense of community which adds to the overall experience. The course itself is varied and interesting. The only downside was the lack of practical experiences which I believe the uni has since attempted to rectify. Socially, as I'm not a huge party animal, the numerous pubs in Southwell have been perfect and provided a chill atmosphere to relax. However, for others who prefer more active nights out, there are plenty of opportunities in Nottingham.

My experience at uni didn't start off very good as I was told I wouldn't be able to ride but they soon sorted this out and I was allowed to ride for the duration of the equitation module. They were very quick at sorting this out for me. Since then I have had a fantastic experience and have attended study tours to Ireland and taken a industrial placement. I am currently in my final year doing my dissertation and have received a lot of support when I have needed it.

Nottingham Trent University is a welcoming place with state of the art facilities available to all. Its halls of residence are clean and well kept, I live on Brackenhurst campus which is very scenic and picturesque, the only downside is living next to a field of cows which do not shut up. Every with the exception of one lecturer who was a little dull, but friendly, every last one has been informative, interesting and friendly. The Brackenhurst campus library is open 24/7 term time which is perfect for night owls like me. Overall I'd say that Nottingham Trent is a brilliant university to go to with friendly staff, so far lovely students and is really just a fantastic place to be.
