FIRST YEAR

MA Communication Design

University rating (4)

The university has students and faculties from diverse backgrounds which gives a good exposure to multiple cultures. The design and facilities of the campus make it accessible to people with disabilities.

Campus is easy to get around and facilities are good. Lectures are delivered well , however lab sessions and workshops dont engage well with the topics being studied.

FIRST YEAR

Primary Education (3-7 and 7-11) BA (Hons)

University rating (5)

Northumbria University is a great place to study because there is so many opportunities to explore. The facilities here are amazing and you can get support whenever needed. Newcastle is an amazing city and student life is good here as there is so much you can do, including nightlife, joining a society and more.

Business Management BA

University rating (4)

The best thing about my uni are the people whether it is my fellow classmates or our teachers, everyone is just so friendly and welcoming. One improvement my university can make is by increasing parking spaces.

FIRST YEAR

Architecture BA (Hons)

University rating (5)

Northumbria university was one of my top picks when applying for uni as the site is just perfect. So close to the Main Street shops and food places. Perfect nightlife which is so close to the Uni. So far I haven’t had a bad experience with the university so I’m hoping to keep that going the rest of my time at the Uni.

FOURTH YEAR+

International Business Management BSc (Hons)

University rating (5)

The opportunities that was available with my course. I managed to study abroad I'm a dual degree programme and with this an internship abroad that gained me international experience as well as little bit of travel. The support system from the university in general is incredible and overall very inclusive, unlike the other University in the city. It's very humbling. The final year choices of whether to do a dissertation, management report or an undergraduate consultancy project was the most relevant. Our choices not only fitted our learning style to set us up for success, but also incredibly relevant for our course. Giving us the real word experience in our field. Improvement wise, the only thing I can say about it is the module in the first semester of final year was harder and heavier than expected, which took a toll mentally and emotionally.
