Everybody's journey through uni has its ups and downs and I am one to vouch for that. I started five years ago, in which I didn't talk to anybody and kept myself to myself, thinking why I was doing the course as I was too thick! Now with all the help and support I am much more confident, made friends and now have faith in myself and wanting to achieve a First! They have given us experiences in which I wouldn't ever have been able to be apart of if I hadn't attended (helping children in Ghana, learning about childhood theorists in Italy). I have so much thanks to give to the university, for the help and support and for helping me become who I am today.
Amazing and worthwhile. not just what courses on offer but also the college group on a whole offering international trips which for college based higher education is fantastic
I have really enjoyed not just the learning but developing my professional practice . I feel I also have developed as a person too, becoming much more confident through the presentations.
Very valuable and tiring. But always supported in what we do and lots of friends made through my experience. It has given me something I never thought I could achieve
I have been with the university for 8 years and the whole experience has been supportive and friendly. Communication and feedback has always been in depth and prompt. I have enjoyed my experience so far.
I have enjoyed my college experience so far. Although it is highly stressful and challenging I have thoroughly enjoyed learning and developing my knowledge. I have made many friends and have attended a trip to Italy to learn about their approach to education.
As I am in my four year with the university has provided me with a new career and enhanced my professional development. Tutors have inspired me to continue onto further education and training once I have graduated.
My experience has been enjoyable and due to its part time option, this has allowed me to enter an employment whilst still attending the college. This has allowed me to develop my learning further whilst still doing a job I love
Really good experience overall, very modern inside. Tutors really well experienced in all subjects and other areas of learning too. Just needs more parking facilities.
Really good. I have made new friends and enjoyed learning about new subjects and challenging myself to try new things. I have enjoyed being pushed to achieve what I am capable of. I felt positive relationships were built with the tutors.
Stressful but enlightening, advice would be to talk to the lectures try and find a way to work that you find best. Work with the tutors, there is a great open door policy I have never been turned away

I really wanted to study Health and Social Care further to enable me to have in depth knowledge and be prepared to potentially study a nursing degree. One major problem I was facing was not wanting to leave home just yet UCNL providing me that very option. The staff within Uni are supportive and friendly and accommodating. They always try and push you to reach your full potential.
Thankfully, upon joining UCNL Covid19 wasn’t such a big issue and so teaching has been able to resume face-to-face. We have opportunities to ask questions during every lecture and outside of lectures we can drop an email or teams message regarding any issues and these are dealt with promptly. However, I feel lessons/lectures could be broken down to stop students feeling confused and overwhelmed. Rather than sitting and doing lectures for 1hr 30 straight block them into 30 minute bursts and have 5 minute breathers.
