lovely campus, support from lecturers is great
the placements are fabulous
Thank you for your feedback
The small year groups mean you get to know everyone but staff and students. There is a lot of work to fit into a small space of time which doesn't leave much down time - you must be able to efficiently manage your workload.
During COVID-19 a majority of the lectures were able to stay in-class. The two academic days are long 8 hour days however this means that for the remainder of the week you have enough time to visit the library and complete your work.

Norland is a great place to study, it has small classes therefore the lectures are able to be more supportive and actually have a Bon with the students unlike other unis that can sometimes be so populated the lectures aren’t able to know each of the students well.
Or lectures are taught online which allows for teachers to be able to support students in the moment, we do Monday and Tuesday 9 till half 4 and Wednesday and Thursday have 3 two hour practical lessons and one 1 hour lesson spread over the two days. we have a high contact with our lectures whether that is through emails or just visiting them in their office.

Norland is a very inclusive university teaching us to be the best in our field as early years practitioners. the student support and lecturers are exceptional with the best facilities. the lecturers listen and tailor their lessons to provide the best opportunities for us and support us in areas we as students believe we could improve on.
Norland are great at keeping all lectures as in person lectures through out covid and the covid outbreaks. we can contact out lecturers at any time and get timely answers and support back. the lecturers are happy to help us and tailor the lectures so that we can understand and engage in the lessons. I belive that they have listened well to the student feedback and taken on the comments for our own benefit.

Best- Brilliant lecture team that are experts in their fields of study. Access to a wide range of information for furthering own knowledge through library facilties. Small lecture size.
All lectures are in person, and also recorded so that students can review what was taught. Staff are highly qualified and fountains of knowledge in their field of work. Lectures are a good length, with regular breaks.
Thank you for your feedback
Norland has a great student support system and the whole team is amazing. However, there could be more student activities, clubs and sports teams available.
We have amazing access to resources and staff. Our course is all in-person which is great.
Thank you for your feedback
That it is a good university to study at as they give great support and everyone is really friendly to be around.
The course is taught really well and that the lectures are both online and in person.
Thank you for your feedback
I love the support system and the facilities available to us but we don't really have a student union and the one we can use us quite far away
The course is brilliant and really helps with getting careers in the future but some lectures are not really needed and a bit time filling
Thank you for your feedback
I love the sense of community at Norland. I think more sports teams and clubs to join would improve my experience.
I love how interactive and relevant all my lectures are
Thank you for your feedback
The overall support provided by student support is really helpful
it is a blend of online and in-person lectures this allows face to face help instantly
