I’ve loved being at Norland and really think it was a great investment into my future! I think the practical experience combined with academic has set me in good stead for job applications in the future (something that Norland will help with Too!)
They have recently renovated and moved to a brand new building! The student resources are amazing! Great common and study area as well as cooking rooms . The teaching staff are also very dedicated so would often reply to emails very quickly (even over weekends).
Yes, very good. Throughout my 3rd year I received lots of support from my dissertation supervisor and I’m sure that helped me in being able to achieve a 1st in my degree. I also struggled in second year for personal issues and Norland provided me with 6 free counselling sessions which were very useful.
Bath is a beautiful city. I am looking to move back there after my NQN year. Student life is great and on the outskirts there is more affordable living for students and young professionals
I liked most how much practical experience I was able to get throughout my course, it helped me feel really prepared for my job at the end of my degree and I really felt I was able to do the job well. My negative experience would be consistancy if teaching staff throughout the course as Norland were developing the programme whilst I was there, there were a few hiccups along the way!

We do 6 week placement blocks within families, nursery’s, schools and hospitals on rotation with studying for our degree at Norland. They also provide lots of additional courses such as self defense, defensive driving, first aid, aga training and many more. Once qualifies there are also lots of CPD courses available to Norlanders!

Overall very good. However miss/poor communication is quite common and lacks organisation at times, more so with placements but also sometimes academically too.
Lacks social facilities, library also very small to work in and lacking in some topic areas. Could do with more than 1 loo on each floor too
Really good supper offend both academically and personal
Bath has good city life but more integration with the other unis would be beneficial
Like the small lecture groups, dislike the actual lecture rooms and how they’re set up
