Nice teachers, provision of materials for projects, help and support. Only the explanation of the material could be improved to make it more meaningful.

Computer Science MSc

University rating (5)

I really like studying at Middlesex, the campus itself gives very good vibes and there are all the things a student can need. Love the Sheppard Library and I really like my teachers. During the lectures there is a lot of talking between students that seat on the back of the room, that makes the lecture not easy to follow.

MSc Biomedical Science (Cellular Pathology)

University rating (5)

University is such a great place to study because it brings together expert lecturers, diverse students, and a wide range of academic resources in one environment that encourages curiosity and growth. You’re surrounded by people who are motivated to learn, which creates a culture of ambition and collaboration. Access to libraries, research opportunities, student societies, and networking events helps students develop both academically and personally. It’s also a space where independence is encouraged, allowing students to discover their strengths, interests, and career goals. However, it could be improved by offering stronger mental health support, reducing academic pressure through more balanced assessment methods, and making education more affordable to ease financial stress. Universities could also provide more practical, real-world experience within courses and clearer career guidance to help students feel more prepared and confident about life after graduation.

Law - LLB (Hons)

University rating (4)

Middlesex is really diverse and friendly, which makes it easy to meet new people. The lecturers are supportive, and the facilities are good. Being in London is also a big plus for career opportunities. Communication can sometimes be unclear, and study spaces get crowded during busy periods. Better organisation and more space would improve the experience.

Nursing (Mental Health)

University rating (5)

The university doesn’t just feel like a place to study it feels like a community. I feel comfortable, valued, and connected, which has made my journey both enjoyable and meaningful. The support from lecturers, staff, and services has been outstanding. Whether it’s academic guidance, wellbeing support, or simple encouragement, I always feel like help is available when I need it. The teaching is engaging, the resources are accessible, and the atmosphere encourages growth. I’ve gained confidence, skills, and knowledge that will stay with me long after Being surrounded by people from different backgrounds has enriched my experience and made the university feel even more like home.

THIRD YEAR

Primary Education (QTS) - BA (Hons)

University rating (4)

Best: Meeting people who have the same interests and tutors that want us to succeed. Discovering what you’re actually good at (and what you enjoy). Moments of independence that made you feel capable and grown. Worst: Stress that hit harder than expected (deadlines, exams, group work) Feeling lost or unsure about your path at times. Balancing everything—social life, studying, wellbeing—never felt easy. This has been supported by the uni listening to feedback and acting on student voices.
