interesting content, but poor teaching, you constantly have to ask the teacher what aspects to do, because they are not specified in the assignment or poorly explained.

I am now in the 1st year 2nd trimester and I have not been really happy for how the 1st trimester was organised, the programming module was very interesting and Kelly was super. What I did not like was the design module, felt a bit disoriented with it and asking other students they have had the same concerns about this module.

My course is taught through a blended learning approach, combining in-class lectures with online materials and recorded sessions, which makes it flexible and accessible. The in-person classes are valuable because they encourage discussion, group work, and direct interaction with lecturers, helping to clarify complex topics. The online components, such as slides, readings, and recorded lectures, allow me to revisit material at my own pace, which is especially helpful during exam preparation. Course hours are generally manageable, though some weeks can feel intense when deadlines overlap. Contact with lecturers is good during scheduled classes and office hours, but sometimes it can feel limited outside those times, especially in larger modules. Overall, the structure supports independent learning, but more consistent small-group sessions or additional opportunities for one-on-one feedback could further improve the learning experience

The LLB Law course is well organised with a good mix of lectures and seminars. Seminars are interactive and help apply the law to real scenarios. Lecturers are supportive and explain topics clearly. The workload can be heavy during assessment periods, and feedback sometimes takes a while. Spreading deadlines out more would improve the course.

Is blended but cold showers and lectures are very good

One of the best things about my course is how supportive and approachable the lecturers and tutors are. The contact time is really good, and I always feel like I can ask questions or get help when I need it. The teaching is clear, practical, and connected to real-life mental health nursing, which makes learning feel meaningful. I also really appreciate the blended learning style. Having a mix of in‑class teaching and online resources gives me flexibility while still keeping me engaged. The subject facilities are strong too, and they’ve helped me build confidence before going into placement. My placements have been a huge highlight. They’ve allowed me to apply what I’ve learned, grow professionally, and understand the realities of mental health nursing. The support from practice supervisors and university staff has made the experience even better.

This course is taught in person, on campus, 2-3 days a week. It has mainly self-study hours, but tutors are contactable by email during the week. Placement happens once a school year, and we are placed within 90-minute travel from home. This has not been beneficial for me, as I have been placed far away from my home address, and travel takes time and costs money. Unless we have a weekend job, we are unable to earn money during this time as it is full-time, and we get no grants towards travel. However, the university has a hardship fund to apply to, but it is limited and not guaranteed.
