My university experience has been brilliant so far and I couldn’t have applied for a better university to study at, I have all the support I need, the college and their facilities are both flawless
The facilities at Middlesbrough college are faultless, the food is amazing and is a good motivator to come into college and the bathrooms are always clean.
There is a huge amount of support from both the tutors and counselling teams within the uni. Tutors always seem friendly and happy to help. Although I haven’t used the counselling services myself, the team seem very dedicated to ensure that every student is happy and safe.
I like how the classes haven’t got too many people in so the teacher is always able to help with any questions we may have. It’s hard to find any improvements about my course however I do think that assignments are set too close to each other sometimes and so it’s hard to complete multiple assignments all before one deadline.
There are always career events going on in college and there is also a team located in the front of the building which is dedicated to help students find a job or apprenticeship and provide help with applications and CVs
It was really difficult taking the step to start education again after 17 years out but it is the best decision I have made love the learning environment and the collage is fantastic
very interactive fun and educational
really good course
Really good. Good facilities and resources available, as well as support from tutors. Staff are friendly and highly trained in fields and therefore can be of great help when it comes to assignments.
Very good lots of resources
Good length lectures always time for one to one support.
Organised and helpful, offer lots of support when finding a placement.
Inspiring although challenging. I feel comfortable while in the college and able to get what i need. I would reccomend Middlesbrough college greatly to others
I like the friendliness
They are brilliant
The overall rating at the college so far is good i haven’t managed to get all around the college with it only being week 2 but what I have saw and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful.
I think the college facilities are very good and has a wide range of courses although the library is not open long enough.
The college is very good at support I suffer from dyslexia and I couldn’t ask for any more help they have been amazing.
I like the most that it’s a small class and the teacher can make sure everyone is following the subject knowledge. The least I like is how many breaks there is throughout the days when you don’t drink coffee.
Their is a job shop outside that you can go and have a look in and get more information on current jobs in the area.
I am enjoying this so much and i believe there is only more good thing to come. The staff are all welcoming and i have stared to make meany new friends young and older
very very good feel like home away from home
Excellent they all give 100 per cent and make you feel welcomed
We are all there to learn and the tutors are very helpful in every way and nothing it too much for them .
Really good with clear lay out
I haven’t used the counselling so unable to comment within that however tutors are very supportive
I like is you are unable to understand or for some reason it’s not going in they will help you until you get it. I don’t like as a personal level the fact I am unable to attend all lessons due to shift patterns working
To encourage you to do better and grow professionally and personally.
Very supportive tutor and lessons are interesting but lack of resources for further reading are difficult to find. Availability of tutor is sometimes difficult due to timetables
I learn from the tutor and take ideas from my course to my classroom
I’ve got the dream job within my first module with the help of tutor.
My experience so far has been great. I am experiencing a great course with excellent tutors and great class mates. The facilities are outstanding and an overall great community to be a part of . So if your looking for somewhere to study Middlesbrough college is the place .
Excellent and easily accessible.
As I already stated the staff, tutors are all very supportive.
Being a mature student I was a little apprehensive, but the staff and tutors have been very helpful and I’m a lot more at ease now, although it’s still early days. I like that the course I’m on I had a choice of study day which I could fit around my work. I wouldn’t say there is anything I dislike at the moment
Middlesbrough College has various departments that are accessible and helpful to increase your employability, whether it be by careers advisors, 1.1 meetings to get information and the skill sets to help you find and access the career if you choice. Always someone to advise and help .
Amazing experience overall. The college is an amazing place and the the teachers and so helpful and go out of their way to help you out with anything. The way the timetable works is great as it allows you to be able to live your other life
Tutors could not do enough to help students
The most: I love how flexible the days are which means I can still work and do my placement.
They offer placements so that we get a real feel for working in that industry. They offer help to us when we write our cv.
