In-person lectures and labs provide an effective approach to learning. There are tutorials each week to answer questions for your module. Once a week you meet with your personal tutor, hence there is not much contact time with them. However, sonce they do not teach you directly this is on a check-in basis which is suitable considering the other support provided across the course.

Telford hall is next to the library and the STEM part of campus so conveniently located for me. My room is spacious and since I have a disability all my accommodations were taken into account when being allocated a room. The kitchens are nice and well serviced.

Good facilities, good personal tutoring and tutors overseeing projects, good industrial connections and placement help

Good rooms with good amenities and space + the communal dining hall was great to meet up with friends. Only downside is the lack of noise cancellation + the amount of noise coming from the quad

Good for level of course - variety and high level, sometimes the modules overlap on what they are teaching which is a bit annoying considering we could be learning more. Facilities great - campus great

Still living with some of the same people in first year now in 3rd year. Great location - quieter but but further away from engineering side of campus

2nd year is annoying with the amount of work

Tutor doesn’t care to meet and year one is boring but year 2 is way way better

I have no real problems with my halls It's very central so quite close to everything I'd need Things tend to break in the kitchen fairly frequently but they get fixed quite quickly

Lots of contact hours and lecturers are available if needed

Very social hall, buildings are getting on a bit though and maintenance sometimes take a while to respond

Lab work is helpful and peer assistance lessons are helpful as well

Location is right next to library

Content is good but some of it seems a bit too simple, some pcs have issues w them sometimes
