Thoroughly enjoying the course, turns out the university is not full of social rejects, just bright people. Whilst people don't go out clubbing every single evening, we do meet up every evening and have a few beers.

I didnt stick it out at the LSE went there went there at first but transferred in semester 1. There was only one halls that I could have afford and i got it but they put me in a shared room I would be lying if I said this wasnt a big factor in my decision to leave. I meet one or two nice people but on the whole people conformed to the stereotypes rich, self-obsessed and career driven. But on the other hand it a very international university where you will meet interesting people. London has soming for every but if of course expensive.

From the first day you enter LSE you'll know that everyone means business - it's all about getting jobs in the City. The plus side to that is that the university has one of the best job prospects around, and the negative point is that at least half of the students are really boring.

LSE is a very unique place, it's more like an international school (High School) than what you would expect from a traditional British University. If you love campus life, then this is not the place for you. But if you are independent, self-motivated and loves the dynamic life-style in the city (as well as many many many foreign students), then this is definitely the place for you.

There's a saying 'I don't need sex because LSE fxxks me everyday!' People might have the impression that LSE produces future bankers, politicians, lawyers etc., but I find it more than just a blindly competitive place to live and study. Here people get enough freedom of choice to find their own way of balancing life and work (for instance most lectures are not compulsory of going!). The library is always a great place to wonder around, and the lovely Lincoln Inn's field, too, just opposite to the New Academic Building, if you prefer a lunch in the park. What's also so great about LSE is that it's in London, with most job opportunities and exposure to life in this country. Although living expenditure is a bit higher, but it's well worth the price - just think about all the free art, exhibitions and fun.

The campus is always clean and the modern facilities give a nice feeling. Departments like admissions or fees are always slow to answer and require constant chasing.
