The students support here is great
The support and facilities
Student support is unmatched, very reliable and responsive and unbelievably helpful. Disability services especially us excellent. Lecturers take time to tailor lessons to it's students and are very open to criticism. Lecturers also allow for plenty of one to one support.

It’s a good place to study, you genuinely do feel more like a person than a number but the main campus is quite out of the way, there isn’t much around in Horsforth. They do have a city campus now which is good but I study on the Horsforth campus.
Tutors are always responsive to questions and genuinely do want you to do well. The pressure to find a placement is high and finding one is very difficult, me and a lot of people I know are struggling, there is support offered for this but many places just won’t accept someone without a degree.
I’ve stayed in 2 different flats within the fountains court accommodation. The first one had a larger room and kitchen while the second is smaller for the same price, it’s randomly allocated so that parts just luck. WiFi is pretty good, it’s fast enough but does cut out randomly sometimes. The signal here is shockingly bad, I cannot make a phone call in the place I live, if I need to call the doctors or something I have to go out to make that call so none of it is private. The signal is an issue with most peoples phones, not just mine, some people have one or two bars, I have none (with Vodafone). There’s security all the time so that’s nice. The location is right on campus so very convenient for classes etc but it is in Horsforth so nothing much to do around here, it’s only a 20 min walk to the train station or a 5 min walk to the bus stop to go into the actual city so it’s not that bad.
