I have enjoyed my time at the University Centre in Leeds. Will definitely recommend friends and family to enrol in the future. I will like to stay for a masters degree, unfortunately, there is no Masters level at the moment at the University Centre in Leeds.
by reaching the employer to find out about skills and knowledge needs for jobs.
Its achievable and enjoyable so far. It has been a wonderful experience to be part of the hardworking and approachable team. They are very supportive and caring.
Great effort always
The most is time table. The least is less techonolgy
Perfect for preferences as I require some space to pray so I always has the opportunity to offer my pray.
Its great. Always there to help
it’s been wonderful! i studied my a-levels here and now i’m doing my graphic design degree here and i’ve been having a pleasant time here. i feel well looked after and understood. i would recommend this college to as many people as i can.
helping us use our own initiative allows us to build independent skills
it’s fun and interactive however it would be great if it was more challenging
facilities are great. if i ever need anything the tutors are always there to help me get it.
the support is very good. tutors are always very helpful and offer lots of guidance with the work as well as personal help. i see the counsellor once a week and she helps me feel much better. my mental health has improved a lot and that allows me to do better with my studies
Really enjoy studying at Leeds City College University Centre, every member of staff always there to help. Really polite and kind. Easy access to library.
Found me workplace within a week.
The tutor explains very well and always there to answers questions. Only down side big group in one classroom.
Easy access to the library and staff members. Canteen not much variety.
Excellent they always there to help.
My experience with college is positive because , it has taught me good things in life, college has made me more mature and more grown up. It has also taught me how to be independent and how to sort things out myself.
They try to get everyone to college on time and get everyone in for the days they are supposed to be in college, which is really good because that increases students attendance which has a positive impact.
The thing that I like the best about my course is that it is challenging, that I learn something different everyday.
They are really good, they are modern , they are different they perfectly suit the University Centre. And also all the students like them.
The support is really good because the tutors try their best to sort out any problems if students have any. They try their best to make the situation easier for everyone and help and also give good advice to their students.
Different, progressive. I have learnt and been equipped with enough time to develop my personal practice. Money is the only real issue with coming to university.
Practice skills throughout course
The staff sometimes dont know which direction to point me in
comming from leeds art university. Not that good
Good A lots of new and challenging thoughts and experience. Through struggling with times management due to family responsibilities. But tutors are very professional.
Various tutors work hard toward broadened my knowledge on different subjects thereby making the course interesting and exciting.
So far so good, i have no complain Just personal things like staying more focus. And make some adjustments
I believe excellent
Getting to learn lots of new words and new work meeting new people for new people learn think and focus feature is bright listen carefully do the work carefully don’t copy anybody and all ways focus what your teachers teaching you thank you
Getting to learn lots of new work every day
It was deffo worth coming here from down south, by far the best course environment I’ve been in, it has allowed me to express my creativity and I have felt encouraged by my lecturers
Yeah, the lecturers are constantly offering work experience to go along side out course
I love how it is practical and the lecturers communicate in a way which is professional yet in a way I’m which we feel free to talk to them and not afraid to ask questions, they have made it clear they are here to help us, the only thing I would say unlike least about it is that we are far away from the other courses that could be of use to helping us such as filming, photography ect
I mainly study at prime, there isn’t much catering facilities there apart from the archive cafe, however the working environment is great!
The support from my lecturers and Simon Wilson have been amazing, they have helped me with my anxiety towards my work, re assured me, they have been there when I needed to talk to them. They are incredibly supportive, accidemically and personally
The course can be very fun at times and it is very challenging and demanding. The deadlines aren’t very well spaced out and can be difficult to complete at the best of your ability.
My tutor offers us many opportunities to work with companies and create adverts and films as part of experience.
The deadlines and course isn’t spaced out very well and doesn’t give enough time to complete deadlines.
I’m unaware of many facilities that my university provides, things like bathrooms are in the middle of a hallway and are unisex. There is very little privacy and sometimes I will have to use bathrooms in the college across from us due to anxiety reasons.
The support is pretty good, the tutor is very sensitive to issues such as mental health and family issues.
