It was good. Tutors delivery was above expectations. They all are really bright and knows their area of law extremely well. For future students my advice would be that this institution is very diverse, everyone is treated equally, the tutors are available after working hours via email (which they respond in a timely manner) and the motivation to learn is inspired by them because the push students academically and reminds they how successful they all "will" become.
Every effort possible!
All are good! A bit tense for some but overall good.
amazing, i have enjoyed every minute. I couldn't have had a better institute to come to. All the teachers have been fully supportive and understanding in all aspects.
With having four children employability hasn't been at the top of my agenda so, i haven't accessed this service.
I really enjoy the way my lessons are taught, They are personal and really well structured.
The classrooms are a little dated and could do with refurbishment.
I honestly couldn't have asked for more support then what I have got. My lectures are there for me whenever I need them. They are always there on the other end of the phone and over email.
I have been pleasantly surprised about completing my degree, especially a Law degree, in this kind of environment. I was nervous before I started but I have received the support and a very high degree of teaching during my time here.
There are some opportunities available and are posted onto google classroom regularly
I like how we are taught in a classroom based environment rather than a lecture hall/theatre as there is more chance to ask questions and get help if we are struggling.
The classrooms could do with a refurbishment but other than that, everything is fine
The support I have personally received has been excellent. Good feedback in most modules and tutors are available to talk to whenever you need
It has been extremely hard but a very interesting experience and I am glad I have gained the knowledge that I have needed for my qualification. It is been the best decision I have made
There are some opportunities but not many in helping with your next step, if you don't want to be a solicitor or barrister
Mostly it has been fine been taught in a classroom, I don't find that lessons are structure the same throughout the 3 years
Some academics and tutors are extremely helpful and willing to help where as some are not always that supportive
It has been a bit difficult due to the departments lack of communication and organisation.
As a PGCE student the college provide us teaching placements, if we have not been able to source one ourselves.
I like the work we complete, although the organisation and communication within the department is limited.
The college has certain facilities that are useful such as a library and the food facilities. However, the library is very small and has not got much stock. The classroom that we have sessions in are very small for the class size. This causes issues with heating, space to move around and the general mood of the class.
The assignment feedback contradicts itself sometimes.
I've loved it, felt like a home and good place to study at. Great experience and good set of tutors, who give they 100%. It's always been a smaller group than a normal university centre, which makes it feel like a home.
I like most of the ways the way this centre teaches. 5 star centre
very good facilities at the centre.
They is feedback regularly, but these are the most important time which will be needed with support.
So far for the last 2.5 years it has been amazing the class size in regards to people is oerfect for me as i cant handle a very large group. The tutors are excellent at their job and i feel extremly comfortable asking for assistance and extra support. Other staff are friendly and very helpful even the cafe ladies. I will recommend this university to anyone who feels they need more of a small classroom setting and as the education deliveried is high quality.
They host career development meetings/functions as well as tutors always help guides us and also with workplacement as being a part of the degree
I love all aspects as it gives us practical and classroom based sessions.
They are really good could you and upgrade in interrior design but they are good.
The support is amazing they are always willing to find time to go over learningmpoints if needed and further explain anything that needs clarification.
The first year was rocky as they were finding there footing but after that it got better and better. I had alot of fun and couldn't have asked for a better final year studying with my tutors and class mates
When finishing my course I was give an opportunity to get a job interview with a studio thanks to the connection one of our tutors had from past work experience
One of our first year tutors was outdated when teaching his subject but due to this the course leader did all he could to get us the support we needed. The best part was the rest of the tutors as they were very qualified and helped me develop and seek out a future role within the games industry
It started off rocky as we began our first year but it only got better and better . The facilities gave us the opportunity to get develop our skills and when asked how to improve they changed it for the next year so that the course would develop along side us
When personal issues arises the tutors would happily talk to you and offer support to those that need it. With that being just a casual conversation or a mental health specialist. With academic support I could have asked for better they always made time for us to make sure we understand want was required of us and even took time out of there personal lives to stay late and help us. I couldn't thank them enough for thay
I've enjoyed it, it's been difficult to balance a social life and obtaining a job but I've put my all into it. Developing a game all by myself has been a struggle with mental health and pressure but I wanted to prove that I could do it so that's what I'll be working on.
They offer a lot of resources in terms of giving opportunities for students to showcase their games at conventions and get togethers.
The most, I like that I can develop and work on something I personally enjoy. I least enjoy the lack of financial support for someone trying to work ahead of studying without any job opportunities.
Pretty good, the IT department are very slow to upgrade our hardware and software however which slows a lot of progress.
mostly it's okay.
I have enjoyed studying at the college. In particular smaller class.
My tutors helped me get a placement, I was then offered a job in the department.
Not enough time to do your own work, too much focus on attendance. Tutors very supportive
Limited resources and building needs updating
Good, very supportive
