The city campus is very central and within walking distance of most places in Leeds city centre making it a brilliant hub for a diverse experience and social scene. The campus is uphill from the train station which can be an issue for those with mobility issues. A shuttle bus would be appreciated even for such a short trip.
It is a nice and calm campus that doesn't get too bust, however it could do with some more coffee shops and places to study.
I choose this university because of student vibrant life , support center big reputation, industrial collaboration for students curriers opportunities and also for students financial support but the one thing is the timeline for submitting 2nd semester fee which is too earlier I think they should make an easier pathway like installments for easier to student to pay overwhelmed it's nice to be here
We have assignments which are shoots outside. I wish they let us get vans or give budgets to some of it as the amount of equipment we have to take out of the university are sometimes quite big.
So far studying at leeds beckett has been great. The location is good because it has plenty of facilities around it and the facilities within the university are varied too. The campus look and feel are nice and modern and the student support I have received in my person experience has been great. I would just prefer it if the communication was a little easier as most people are unavailable a lot of the time or take while to reply when something needs attention.
The location of the uni is perfect in terms of the city.
Student support for wellbeing and overall needs is incredible - access to extra support and help is easy and accessible. Slight improvements with fasciitis, as not all rooms have accessible plugs to charge laptops, would be great, but really not much to moan about.
Love the city and campus vibe with a great night out on top of that
