i love leeds university location, headingley campus has a lovely rural feel and is only a 15 minute bus ride into city where there are plenty of shops. I study at city campus and enjoy being able to go between the two campuses for both uni in city and the gym in headingley campus.

I am a student at Leeds Beckett University and my experience so far has been good. The professors are really supportive and friendly, and most of them explain the topics clearly. They are approachable and always ready to help if you don’t understand something or need guidance with assignments.

The Leeds Beckett University has two campuses. One in Headingley, and the other, that is is located right in the heart of the city. The city campus has good access to shopping and healthcare. The University has several study-friendly areas throughout the campus which is great to get work done. I was disappointed with the gym subscription plans. Not only is it expensive, it also comes in packages of accessible arenas. As a basketball player, I would have only wanted to pay for access to the basketball courts and the fitness gym which I would expect to be cheaper. But no, I have to buy an entire package that contains a swimming pool, dance area, etc.

Amazing staff support that encourages community! could do with some designated dimmed light and quiet areas, though for those with sensory challenges like myself.

Best Lectures support for learning and understanding lessons. Their ease of access to students during official time The library continously communication both via email and in-person to give support Students unions strong presence felt in campus and their many ways of ensuring I am not alone on this

It is a lovely campus however the student union and coffee shops inside the building could be more affordable or offer deals.

Currently all I can see is a lot of positive impact from my lecturers they help the students feel confident and also express themselves in all aspects

A big ask but maybe a bit more student to student support as I don't receive much but no reply emails

Leeds Beckett is a great university with a wide range of courses making lots more friendly faces to meet. The split of two campuses allows 2 different areas of study. Being based on Headingley Campus, majority of the students study sport, and there’s lots of crossovers in different lectures. All my lecturers are supportive and always there if you ask or need any help. Nothing ever goes unnoticed and if you require any extra assistance without a doubt you will recieve it.
