the lecturers in Imperial College London are great and the modules are really interesting but the labs should be more well equipped especially for the undergraduate labs.
Imperial is awesome as in labs, facilities (maybe a bit more gym facilities at ethos are needed) and the accommodation is very well prices for the locations and the commute convenience.
Good university and student life that could be improved though. The lecturers are good as well as the gym and the library. London has really good shopping venues and bars. The accommodation is of a good price but too far away.
I enjoy living and studying at Imperial College London. It is a diverse and exciting city, and while at the university you are surrounded by intelligence. Many careers fairs, talks from relevant companies and prestigious members of the scientific community occur through out the term.
Its got great facilities and amazing lecturers. The union is also good and not too expensive while night life in London is great.
Rigorous learning but you can always find time to interact with friends despite workload. Quite a difficult program - mechanical engineering is one of the hardest programs.

I really enjoy studying at Imperial College London, but as a warning be prepared to work very hard. I have often seen a queue round the block to get into the library at 9am on a Saturday morning. I do try and relax as well, but I generally find I do at least a few hours of work a day at least. My course is really good as it allows you to choose between a wide range of modules so you can choose how you would like to study. I also find that Imperials name goes along way in the job world and a lot of employers see Imperial as one of the best universities in the world. Also the accommodation is really good but it is expensive, so be prepared for that. My top tip for getting a place at Imperial is to know what you would like to get out of university and that will really help you at your interview, make sure you are really passionate about your course.
I really enjoy studying at Imperial how could you not? It is in the centre of London and is one of the best universities in the world. I really enjoy my course as it covers a wide range of material and modules, and also the tutors are very helpful which is a massive bonus. I find the facilities great, the library is really good and so are the labs that we do all our practical work in. My only gripe is that the practical sessions can often go on to long, but I really enjoy the lectures. I live in London love the city a lot its great for everything from shopping, to the parks, to the nightlife, it has EVERYTHING. My tip to anyone looking to study here is to do your research before your interview and really try and impress the university with your knowledge. Also work really hard.
Living in London and studying at Imperial has made my life so good. I love being in the middle of one of the most buzzing and active cities in the world and also studying at one of the most respect universities there is. I find the course and lectures very helpful and the facilities to help me with my studies are top quality. The student union is a great place to go to unwind on a Friday evening or at the weekends and they regularly hold activities and events to bring the university together. My one and only tip for getting a place at imperial is to make sure you study HARD!
The course is certainly not what I was expecting, it does not cover the topics that I was looking to study when I came to university. Although facilities wise it is a very good university to be at as it has a fantastic library, lots of labs and also computer rooms to work in. I love being in London as it is such a beautiful city and there is so much to do all the time. I am not a big fan of the students union as it is pretty boring and nothing really happens there. Overall though I enjoy being in London and know that if I work hard I will come out with the degree I want and find a job where I want to work. A tip for getting a place is to put down that you are applying to Cambridge as well, as it will make them realise you are a serious candidate who is willing to study very hard.
I love being at Imperial and am really happy I chose to study here. My accommodation is the best part, I have a huge room which also includes a kitchen and it is a lovely flat. I would go as far to give my accommodation 11 out of 10! The only down side for me is the tube, I really hate it when it is busy of their are delays it can get very frustrating. The student union on the other hand is a really great venue, they have lots of events and the drinks are really cheap to. My main tip for anyone looking to get a place here is to understand the subject you are looking to learn and to read up about it a lot before your interview, know your subject inside out and you should be more than able to impress them at the interview.
From the very beginning of my time at Imperial I found it to be a very welcoming and friendly environment to be in. The course I chose has all the relevant information I was looking to study and also is very comprehensive in its depth and delivery. We also get a guest speaker come in every week to speak about a different area of industry which we could go into, which I find really interesting. I really like the accommodation I have chosen as It means I have a fifteen minute walk through hyde park to get to university everyday which I really enjoy. There are also fantastic facilities at my halls including a large common room and a bar, so it is a very sociable place to be. I am also a member of the chess and scifi societies which are both really well run and we meet regularly. My main tips to anyone considering coming to imperial is to work hard and reach for the moon.
As an institution Imperial College has all the makings of a fantastic educational facility. It has top notch facilities such as its extensive library and ample labs and computer rooms, but for me the course has not lived up to how good the uni is. I am not particularly interested in what they teach in the lectures and I find the staff commitment to the students to be pretty poor as I rarely get any one on one time with my tutors to go over any questions I have. Also the amount of hours of lectures a week is very small and you are expected to do a majority of the research yourself which I understand, but it really is a very small amount of contact time you get for the amount of money you are shelling out.
It is only my first year at Imperial, but I am enjoy my time very much in the university and city of London. I have found the course and facilities at Imperial to be of a very good quality and have made my experience a good one. Although their a couple of downsides to the university, firstly the student union is very poor and have very few events on and is not very good for socialising. Secondly the accommodation is very expensive and far away. Putting that aside overall it is a fantastic university to attend and study in. My advice to anyone looking to get a place here is to work hard and do some research on your course to impress at an interview.

It could be better but overall i am really satisfied. The uni facilities include free swimming pool and the support services include career service, health service etc. the accommodation it might be expensive but its amazing.
