My experience was great overall, however it was marred by constant strikes and bad organization on the part of the universities management. This disorganization trickled down into disorganization from my department aswell.

The university's atmosphere is great, considering the mix between old and new buildings. The lecture rooms are equipped with the necessary tools to study, showcase and teach.

It is a great place to study depending on the course and the tutors and if you have any good friends there. More interaction from staff to me you feel welcome and supportive, more meetings with other students to get to know each other in a friendly supportive environment. Improvement of the canteen more choices of meals and hot desserts and cheaper prices. More interaction from the chaplin staff as does not feel welcoming. Goldsmiths university is a beautiful place to study. Just need more down to earth kind caring people like me self.

In general, Goldsmiths is a good place to study. I met some amazing friends and tutors there but I think the school should increase the number of school clubs and do a better job of publicizing them, create more departments to solve the problems of international students, and improve the campus facilities, the toilets in the centre of our main building are always dirty and smelly. Moreover, only a few of the rooms have access to toilets and the toilet sections are all damaged to varying degrees. As the central toilet in the main school building, it will not give a good first impression to those who visit the campus for the first time. So I hope the school will provide more cleaning staff in the school area

The campus is a good size, spacious without being overwhelming. There is lots of green space which is nice to have in a busy city. The equipment we use in the media department is new and varied. The cafeteria has lots of options and we have nearby access to multiple rail and bus transport links.

I love the library! Although food spots are limited, I do enjoy Costa down the road. So far throughout my years here, I’ve grown as a student and learnt more about myself. Goldsmiths has amazing tutors and facilities for students.

Tutors on my course that I have encountered so far are nice. I think that some accessibility needs to be sorted with some of the online reading materials not being compatible with some text to speech technologies

The good thing is that the students and the teachers are very nice in Goldsmiths. As an international student, they are really make my life easier in England. They are willing to help. In this kind of environment it really motivates me to study. The bad thing is that Goldsmiths paid lack of effort after strike action. There were fewer strikes this year, but last year in my foundation year, the strikes were at least double more than this year. There was no refund, nothing.

In my experience, Goldsmiths is an inclusive institution that values diversity and provides a supportive environment for all students. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. For instance, strikes by the staff can be disruptive to our education and create uncertainty about the future. Additionally, scheduling problems can sometimes make it difficult to balance coursework and extracurricular activities. Despite these challenges, the university has many strengths that make it an excellent place to learn and grow. The tutors are knowledgeable and supportive, always willing to provide guidance and help us succeed. The university environment is also excellent, with modern facilities and resources that enable us to learn and study in comfortable and effective ways. Overall, while there are some areas that could be improved, Goldsmiths is a great place to pursue higher education. I feel fortunate to be a part of this community and I believe that with continued effort and attention to the needs of students, Goldsmiths will continue to improve and provide an outstanding educational experience for all.

Enjoying the course, challenging but learning quite abit. One module ‘studying computers’ could definitely be improved although all other modules and lectures are great! Especially the programming. The lecturers will upload prerecorded videos in addition to the lectures which is great for me. Library is nice open 24hrs. Location isn’t far from central. Loring hall is decent not had any issues so far. Will continue to edit this review as the years go on.

As an art student it is phenomenal. There are always art shows and music shows locally and across London that have the goldsmiths connection. The studios just have a vibe to them and swear down I’ve never met a boring person here. I will cherish this time- it’s not without challenge but the help is there should you reach out. Spaces are friendly whatever goes, and there are lots of passionate people around. For a time I had a personal tutor that was so understanding of dyslexia and appreciated the way I was writing. The library has a good collection but it’s a bit officey not really my style but there are plenty of other quiet places to work. In the summer it’s nice on the Green and technicians and staff are usually very knowledgeable and willing to talk through anything. Art degree stellar if you put in your own stellar like anything I guess. As a whole if you know what you’re there for, goldsmiths will provide. There is a bit of elite capture in the institutionalness of I’ve never come across any tutors or students that represent that; they’re incredibly strong minded and are building from the inside. Rich history rich culture whole place lit. Really! I say this even in covid times. Luckily our studios remained open.

Covid sadly deeply effected my uni experience, no fault of my uni however, they were one of the few art unis that kept the studios open with social distancing in place they really wanted to try and keep our experience the best it could be. The staff and facilities are simply incredible, the staff are so supportive and willing to do take the time out to help students. I think the problem with the uni is the higher-ups that do not support or respect the staff or students enrolled, the warden for example.
