Futureworks is not just a university. Futureworks is a community of caring, hard-working creatives who always strive to do the best they can and help out others whenever they can. Studying here for the past few months has been a dream come true, far beyond any expectations I withheld before I started uni. Because Futureworks is quite a small university, the intimacy between tutor and student can't be matched, They're always there to help whether its on e-mail or discord. The facilities are exactly what I was looking for and everything seems very fair. The course itself has a diverse range of topics and knowledgeable/experienced tutors which is what I lacked with my college experience. 10/10 so far can't wait to see what the next few years have in store.

To the best aspects of my uni experience were definitely face to face feedback from tutors, which was really helpful and general student support, especially for students mental health and programs that they organised (eg. Many hands, free support sessions with therapist etc) and uni facilities. To the worst aspects, some of the tutors didn't have enough knowledge about the course they were teaching, which made students miss out a lot and didn't learn a lot about certain subjects

The best thing is that there are some lecturers with real industry experience which often they'll be more than willing go talk about with students. The worse thing is that many of the computers are outdated which makes it harder to work with

Overall my uni experience at Futureworks has been great! All the staff are super friendly and helpful who make you feel welcome from the first day. The studios and live rooms include high end equipment which you soon get the hang of even though it can look daunting at first. One thing I would change is the amount of time we have available in the studios outside of lecture hours. Currently we are only able to have 8 hours per week which is 2 sessions. I have found for me personally it’s sometimes not enough if I'm working on a project that's unrelated to my assignments.

Great tutors, great resources, great all around

Dedicated facilities with industry standard equipment and staff with real industry experience. Some of the equipment is rather old and the two sites are about thirty minutes apart. With class time being the minimum allowed.

The small size of the Uni does make it feel more intimate and personal, but it fails to provide the ‘university experience’. There are no organised unions or anything of the sort. Feels more like a college than a University.

Great tutors, relaxed environment that allows you to work on personal portfolio projects.

The facilities are great and lectures are very helpful with alot of support from lecturers inside and also outside of lesson time.

The connection between tutors and students is truly impeccible. As a Futureworks student, I truly believe that I am being enabled to get the most out of my uni experience. When they promoted Futureworks as an industry leader for creative arts, they were not wrong. Every week I believe I am improving as an editor and as an academic, and that is all thanks to the tutors and my fellow students.
