they are brilliant, from all the equipment that you can borrow to the software that are available. Even if faulty they're quickly fixed or upgraded

well it is more than any other educational facility has ever offered to me and more. Without the constant support and care I could not pursue what I am doing now

in term of locations it offers the best range has it is located inbetween the center of manchester and salford allowing us to a eccletic range of facilities that we can access

i like the size of the class and the teacher student dynamic allowing us to learn more efficiently and form relationships of trust what i like the least are the evening classes, but that is just because i have a bias towards morning ones

The Facilities at my university are outstanding, there is always equipment avaliable and there is more than enough.

I think the support offered is outstanding, there is always someone to talk to 24/7, even if that coursework related or personal.

I like and enjoy the way my tutors interact with the class and show us real life assets in the industry that can relate back to the topic. However i don't enjoy the constant use of media, such as youtube videos used to describe in depth topics, id much rather have a group discussion.

Couldn't ask for better. Tutors and student services are incredibly supportive of any academic or personal issues. It's one of my favourite things about Futureworks.

Yes, I don't use student accomodation but I know it's located within walking distance of a few providers

I enjoy how much practical/studio time we get. Sometimes learning from powerpoints in the classroom is a little boring, I understand this is necessary sometimes though

Lectures from semester one in year one on professional development and portfolio. Experienced and knowledgeable tutors are there for advice and guidance whenever we need.

Brilliant studios, it would be helpful if first years had more access (more studios and more hours) but I understand that 2nd and 3rd years students need this more

Brilliant. Couldn’t fault it at all. You really feel the “small university community” at Futureworks, everyone knows your name, you’re not just a number. Staff will assist you whenever/however they can. They’re enthusiastic and supportive of your projects outside of university too which is really lovely.

Manchester is great and diverse and fun but there’s less of an independent music scene than I expected. Some areas around the outskirts of Manchester are notoriously unsafe

Practical lessons are really helpful and interesting. Lessons that just follow slideshows are good for music theory/history but not for things that should be practical, e.g. software exploration

Weekly lectures on career and portfolio development. Very supportive and helpful staff that will assist you during contact hours or out of them if you ask
