I love the contents of my courses and the teachers are very helpful and their way of teaching is innovative and interesting.

I like all the furniture we have in our kitchen and the rooms have nice windows, the sunlight comes right in.

There were many job fairs as well as workshop while I was studying.

I just the course is good but we need practical case work and placements for a good future

The total number of contact hours makes is possible for students to have time for part time jobs, come for lectures and have time to finish assignments and assessments. Lessons include performing tasks that will give you knowledge and skill on module content. Assessment types are varied and makes one develop different skills and knowledge. It will be very expedient to involve a few weeks of placement or internship opportunities for this course to give graduates some hands on experience by the time the course is completed.

I like the fact that the halls are tidy, in good shape and very comfortable. Laundry services should have been included in every hall because the external laundry sometimes breakdown and it takes longer before they are maintained.

My course is in person and is a full time course. I enjoy the deep discussions that my course facilitates and these discussions are useful for informing work towards assignments. The tutors are passionate about their lectures/seminars and are always available either in person or via emails/teams to support my learning journey.

Edge Hill is well situated in Ormskirk. I feel safe to be at university during the day and of a night. Ormskirk has many amenities for students to take advantage of and the locals are very welcoming to all students. Night life in ormskirk is great with reasonable prices to accommodate the student population. Transport is very accessible with the university having its own free to use bus for students to travel between campus and ormskirk town centre from there Ormskirk has a direct train to Liverpool city centre, giving students access to even more amenities and opportunities.

Course is really interesting and engaging. We have a combination of full time lecturers and PHD student teachers which means that experiences amongst seminars are varied and sometimes don’t feel like we are getting the most out of them

Location on campus is great and is good value for money. Lots of issues with the flat for example radiator keeps braking and also the fact that maintenance will enter your room when your not in

My tutors are exceptional. They have a lot of subject knowledge and their passion is clear in their lectures. They are very understanding and always up for a chat. A lot of the assessments allow me to write about things I am interested in rather than a specific set of rules.

Living in halls was amazing. They are modern, spacious, and have a cleaner come into the kitchen every week day. I felt very safe because of campus security and it was easy to get to my lectures or to into the nearest town on the free uni bus.

Politics had some fascinating modules and corresponding trips to keep things fresh - the lecturers are fun and friendly. History was good but modules felt limited and there were perhaps not as many trips as we would have liked to keep things interesting. The History Society was fun though!

First year halls (Palatine) was almost flawless, with some drainage problems which could be easily sorted. The new accommodation is fantastically modern, but the builders rushed to finish it last year and there have been issues with pencil still on walls, certain things left unfinished, and continuous issues with the cooker. I understand that this is the fault of the builders - not Edge Hill themselves. The new accommodation would be some of the best in the country if not for the delays and issues, so I think next year’s students will love them!

The best aspect of my course is the course hours and the lecturers approached teaching the worst aspect of my course is there investigative methods module

I love the location of my halls It has a big open kitchen space and a lovely room with an ensuite. The worst part about my halls are the Wi-Fi.
