the uni, in general, is great, with student support and especially for international students, the greatest thing is the Islamic Society, that's very active. and the quality of study is great. the worst thing is that multi backgrounds students are accepted to study a course not close tho their knowledge this affect the level of postgraduate study to the minimum for the specialized one.

This university has very diverse atmosphere which makes a good place to study and I personally think that they should do some changes regarding absence because some students immediately learn what was taught in any lectures or seminar but some take time to learn and understand what the whole topic is all about. So I think if they prefer to do seminar online and take time at home to understand things that can be benefited for students.

Schooling at DMU has been an interesting experience. I love it's diversity, community, and the opportunity to mix in and get a glimpse of different cultures. As an engineering student however, I have not had the best experience and it hasn't been the worst either. The engineering facilities we're provided with can be limiting at times, especially when everyone is trying to get their lab work done, there tends to be no extra space to work in. Another thing for me is the environment, going into the engineering building it doesn't feel as motivating and as conducive as I think it should be. The building design is outdated and it doesn't call for students to stay in and be innovative, you want to leave as soon as you can. I think plans for a new engineering building should be put into action. Looking at other departments in the school, I think more and equal focus on the engineering department will be great. Nevertheless, student and career support has been great and my experience has been pretty decent.

I love my university for the fact that the staff and teachers have an amazing approach to us, students. DMU has a huge range of courses to choose from and it's no problem to change course if someone changes their mind! Everything is done quickly and without any problems. That is important to me. In addition, the teachers are always happy to help and willing to give advice. I have had no bad experience with this place, just love it!

The best aspect is simply the facilities and how conducive the environment is and what can be improved is how to make learning easier for international students because most of us are used to a different educational system
