Apart from other students not pulling their weight and making teamwork very hard, it’s a good learning experience. The tutors are helpful if you want more work or experience
Little space in some classrooms which makes it difficult for fresh air to come in. Our computers could also need an upgrade.
Most tutors are always around if you need someone to chat to. Meet them with respect and they’ll do the same
Overrated.
The best part about the course is that we don’t have teachers, we have industry professionals. What could be better is planning timetables ect. We often have too many days with nothing to do in between which could rather be used as vacation in between terms

Through practical work, they are preparing us for the industry
Thank you for your feedback
It's been great. The teachers are experienced and I have made many friends. The location is also ideal so it has given me plenty of opportunity to explore London
There are lots of cameras and other film-making equipment as well as computers loaded with the appropriate software
It is their if available but I have not needed it yet
Very good although it can get a bit rough and is very noisy
the teachers have all worked in the industry so are experienced. They're very friendly and I am always comfortable to talk to them

It has widened my social circles and given us opportunities to contact industry professionals

If you want to do filmmaking this is the place I would recommend- there's an emphasis on proffesionalism and real-world experience which you won't get elsewhere.
Very good, all equiptment (of good quality) provided or a budget allocated to rent equiptment. Multitude of editing suits, printing facilities, studio spaces, classrooms etc, which are available outside of shedulued hours for hire. Coffee, tea, microwave facilities provided, too. Also a cinema screening room. It's compact but plesant, and gets the job done.
Academically the tutors are always available within 24- 48 hours and a large number I believe will remain contacts after completion of the degree- all care passionately for what they teach, and there are a large number of feedback sessions per modulue which makes personal and professional development easier, and achieving high grades as stress-free as it can be. Personal is also good- they help us elect student reps, assign us a personal tutor to have meetings with and whenever I have seen, had or heard anyone have mitigating circumstances the uni have alsways been excellent at supporting, resolving or helping with whatever the issue.
Love Lonon, though I'm used to it. Our area is a bit dodgy, but that's shoreditch for you. It's quirky.
Most: The 'teachers' are real industry professionals whom we can ask for genuine advice and make contact with. Emphasis on practical and team work which is perfect experience for future careers. Small lecture classes and an equal number of tutorials for individual development. Least: Often intra-personal conflict is left to be resolved within groups, even though the group marking system does mean this will reduce marks for everyone in the group.

Always informs us of upcoming fesitvals for us to submit work to, or to view as references for our future work. Also has a number of contacts within the industry who email the school to ask for part-time workers, which the school always sends out (at least one opportunity every week or two weeks). They have industry professionals come to give lectures, and also show our work to industry professionals as part of their feedback programme. Everything about our degree is structured to be as close to what working professionally will be like, rather than being academically based, with reflective essays instead of academic one to support our personal proffesional development.

Attending CFS is the best decision I've made for my career. CFS is rigorous and focused. I look forward to my classes, and my classmates are equally passionate. The staff have various backgrounds, and want to tell the students about it.
They are clean, and well maintained. Some furniture needs replacing, but other wise most of it is sturdy. The canteen is tight, considering that there are more students then chairs. However, I like that CFS provides coffee and tea.
Professors offer personal tutor meetings, but not enough students utilize this resource. Those that do benefit from the tutor's advice. There are student reps, but the meetings are in-frequent and often missed by the reps due to last minute meeting notification. Since the first meeting, only 20% of the topics have been addressed.
CFS is in a perfect location for the film industry. Brick Lane is a great area for creatives. There is an abundance of opportunities & resources available within 30 minute walk. Never run out of things to do.
I love that my tutors are experienced and mature. This enables them to give us genuine advise and practical techniques. What I do not like is (most of) the room set ups. Some modules require table and chair setups, while others do not. The room assignments for classes needs improvement.

They offer personal tutor meetings. Tutors send emails advertising competitions and other relevant opportunities.

If I had gotten my money back I would have dropped out. There are too many people who shouldn’t be there. The school doesn’t appreciate the people who actually work, but instead focus on the people who’re not willing to learn.
Could use a makeover, but then again that could the entire of London.
They’re getting there, but still has a way to go.
Hate it, London is a city that has outgrown itself.
I like the practical aspect, but several of the tutors are useless.
