Disgraceful. Useless. Lecturers were nasty and spiteful. Overall poor. Avoid. Attitude from lecturers is highly negative. They don't help students get the higher grade. Lancaster university need to look at the majority courses being delivered and the people that are being employed to teach the degrees. Many don't even have a masters degree never mind a phd degree. The staff are so lazy and not bothered.

How good are your college's facilities?

Poor. Too many students not enough computers and books. Many have mentioned this. The university couldn't care less.

How good is the support offered by the college? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

Overall poor. When you ask for help with coursework the lecturers could only spare five minutes of Fridays. Some mentioned they don't have the time and walked away when asked for help with coursework. Useless university.

Very poor. Lectures are rude and have favourites.

How does your college make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

Absolute rubbish university. Bums on seats. Staff always off sick. The lecturers are unwelcoming. Lecturers have failed to communicate with students when they are off sick. Why employ lecturers that are constantly going to be off sick. Lecturers are rude and come across arrogant. The lecturers do not care about students. They care about taking money off students. They keep hassling you for money towards fees which has already been paid. Disgusting behaviour. The university is very disorganised. There is alot of favourtism that goes on. The university seems to allow plagiarism but will deny when asked. Some lecturers put students down alot. Staff are not nice and come across as confrontational. Some lecturers are nasty and spiteful. They constantly use inappropriate language in class towards students. It's all about the money, frauds and cheats. Lack of support from lecturers. Lecturers never reply to emails which is really annoying !!! Many lecturers are very insulting. Management only care profits. Very poor university. Avoid. If lecturers turned up on time and gave coursework help to students then things would improve. Need more books in the library for students. This happens on many of the degree courses. Disgraceful university. They should all be ashamed of themselves. All lecturers and the management at the university should read this review and other reviews below. I wish new students the best. Get yourselves to a better university.

Dissapointing, very disorganised, complaints regarding course not taken seriously. Will not recommend. The facilities at the university are a joke especially in the computing sector. Lack of PC's and broken equipment take 2 months to be fixed.

Unfortunately the standard of the university is going down. Tutors are not always inclined to help students achieve anything higher than a pass mark, as apparently that's the 'level the are required to teach to'. This attitude from tutors is highly negative and has definitely had an impact on me deciding to carry on my further studies at another university. The facilities are generally good, many libraries & canteens to choose from. Maybe Lancaster as the governing body of some of the courses should get involved to raise standards
