The buildings are good, the area is great and the quality of teaching is decent.

A good environment to be in and supportive tutors always at hand for advice

I am very impressed with the level of support I received and the feedback was always positive with areas for improvement guided by the tutor making it possible for me to better myself.

I would have preferred to be taught how to plan lessons and hopefully be observed teaching them during the course of the year.

The tutors here are fantastic they support you in whatever way they can. They believe in you even when you dont believe in yourself. They help you see that your goals are reachable and they are always there to support you wheather that is uni or in personal life. They make sure you achieve whatever you set out to achieve.

I love the way the course could work around normal life such as work and other commitments. I liked how moodle was updated consently so if you were unable to attend a session they would have everything online. I love how they respond quickly to any emails.

College facilities are accessible for all individuals with different needs. There’s wide range of facilities that can be accessed to help with research and education such as library facilities.

Amazing I have been going through a lot with my personal health and my tutors have always had an understanding of this and supported me throughout all of it, offered support where they can. Absolutely amazing support

My course was taught very well to us , they always offered support and recap where we needed it. If we needed a little more explanation they would offer it. Or try change it to a way we would understand. I always felt comfortable to ask question and speak about the subject and found I got a very good understanding of it all the best I could for my assignments

Blackburn college is very accommodating when your studying and working at the same time. They try to get careers advisors in which are relevant to the topic you are studying in which is beneficial to know what grades you need. While they get careers advisors they also get people who working in the industry your studying to give more of a prospect of what it’s like in everyday life.

The facilities are poor. Lecturers lack knowledge and are still doing their studies as have stated themselves. Some students are more qualified than the lecturers. Very poor environment. They is often alot of poorly behaved lecturers and often many lecturers don't show respect towards students.

Academic support is very poor. Tutors are not qualified in degrees and are just assistants. Lessons are boring and they add lessons since many lecturers are bored and have nothing to do. They have many students who leave. Fake degrees.

Nothing. Lecturers often more interested in going to smoke and cutting lessons short. Also I have seen some lecturers smoking with students. Very unprofessional. Not a university they have degrees that are not worth anything. They seem to make opinions of students and don't respect them.

Course content is very poor any on the course do not have previous qualifications. Many without job at the end of their degree. Degree with no future career. Very poor.

The university facilities are poor. No degree level books more college books. Library is small with not enough computers old computers. They need more books. Their moodle is often down which does not allow access to resources. The university has many other issues. The building is often unsafe with many bad behaved people. Unprofessional staff. Some staff have no manners and are disrespectful, but that is normal at the college and university. It is no wonder many students leave the university. Overall facilities are very poor.

Academic progress for students is very poor. PowerPoints are not uploaded. Staff make excuses to why work is given late. They often more interested in planning for their holiday than their are teaching their students. Too much gossiping and lack of focus on education. They also seem to lack knowledge non of the lecturers are qualified and have not had any experience working in sector. Lecturers often rude and snappy. They also make rude comments to students. They have a high drop out rate. The university is known for useless admin staff who often slam the phones down and don't know what's going on. Tutors do not offer any help with assignments and their modules are useless and made up. I would recommend students to avoid this university and go to university that cares about students. They do not respond to emails and only reply to students they like. They only want your money. Many course are often taken off as they don't have many students on the course. There is a lot of cheating happening at this university. The degree course are more hobby course. The university has hobby courses and degrees with no career. Lancaster university needs to get involved and question the standard of teaching. The feedback provided on assignments is often done by lecturers who are close friends with each other which shows that they often mark students down on assignments. Unprofessional staff. Staff do not care if students fail, they only interested in gaining something for themselves for their petty attitude. The university overall has a very bad mannered lecturers. Overall academic is poor and there is often bad language used in class and outside of class by lecturers, the university seems to allow this kind of behaviour. Worst university.

The course content is really poor. Staff on the degree are often off sick leading students to fail. Lecturers favour students and often give low marks on assignments. They enjoy failing students and rude comments made by them show that they lack knowledge of the course and many don't have qualified degree, probably got into the lecturer job because they close connections with the managers. The university is known lazy staff and degrees that would not lead to proper jobs in the future. PowerPoints are boring, Staff are often more interested in gossiping than teaching students. This university is more of a primary school than a university.

The university centre at blackburn college has poor standards of teaching and their degrees are not degrees simply a way of getting students to study with no future career. They have lied about what their degrees lead to. Unqualified staff members. Staff are often rude and bad mannered. They do not teach degrees by Lancaster university none of their degrees are being taught at Lancaster university . They are liars. They are students who have do not have gcse on the degree courses. They don't find work placements for you. Your probably going to be working and earning the same when you leave. Many staff have a bad attitude and are always looking down at students. Many students are failing their modules or are resitting. Lazy staff who are often off sick. The modules are more like level 3 standard work not degree level. It is a failing university.

Poor. Not enough books in the library. No computers that work. Students are often late to classes and staff are the same. They just wonder around. One lecturer on the course is nasty and a bully. They continously makes nasty comments to students in class.

Lectureres and tutors just don't care. They ignore when you ask for help. Don't answer emails. Some are very rude and confrontational. One person who teaches on the degree course is known for being rude and putting students down all. What a nasty person. Alot of favourtism goes on. Management's really don't care. Some lecturers enjoy gossiping like little children. Awful university. Staff are known to make insulting comments to students. Poor university and full of staff that dont care about students education. Lecturers are bullies.

The course is poorly run. Management's clearly don't care. They hire staff that dont care about students. We know that university is independent study but should be willing to explain things. Some lecturers are nasty.

Staff are lazy on the social care practices foundation degree. They have favourite students. Tutors often off sick. No one to.one support with coursework. Lecturers rude and bad mannered. They ignore you when you ask for help. Some make offensive comments in class. Very poor.

I have seen a lecturer of poor quality shout at students as if it was a pupil at high school and this behaviour seems to be acceptable. The staff concern has not been hold accountable by management and behaves in a way as they can do what they like. They are a disgusting lecturer why management let them teach the degree. The person who teaches on this degree is rude. The university should get rid of them. The person is a bully. Get rid of her.

Poor lecturers. Always late. Assignments coursework is handed in two months after. Lectured often off sick. 9,250 a year to be taught by small minded intellects who don't even have a phd in subject they teach. One to one help is never given. Student support is a shambles. The lecturers are very disorganised. Poor university.

Worst university ever. Bums on seats Uni. They really don't care about students they just want your money. They don't really take notice if your there or not so long as you get good grades. Lecturers are nasty and spiteful. Not even qualified to teach don't even have phds degree. Some don't even have a masters degree. They constantly ask for tuition money when it's already been paid. Disgusting people. It's all about the money not about the education the staff can come across quite rude and full of themselves. This university should be shut down. The staff don't care about the students education. Fail to respond to emails. Many staff often off sick. There's alot of plagiarism and favourtism that goes on but as usual the university will deny it. Avoid.
