The best aspects would be the music groups and personal tutors. The academics are largely very uninteresting.

Nice flats, probably shouldn't cost as much though.

Lectures are totally great, all so lovely. contact hours are ample and well balanced. Lecturers are often checking in and seeing you're doing okay, makes a huge difference. Supportive and friendly environment.

Again nice staff, some rules were way too strict with visitors but it was very safe.

Everything is taught in person which is good. Small class sizes is very intimate and helpful for individual bespoke learning.

The corse has a wide range of music and composers that we study. I think that more detail could be focused in on, as a lot of stuff already know. It would be more beneficial to mention aspects which are not well known.

Inside the accommodation was very safe, but outside there could be more security as I and other people have been attacked there. I believe a lot of people know that it is a student accommodation so specifically wait outside and target students.

Would be extremely helpful for 2nd years up if you could book a 7 person flat with friends and not be randomly allocated as this puts many older students off living there again

My course is taught in-person, with a mixture of hours every week due to my principal study timetable. I have to self-allocate my hours with tutors, so my contact with them is just how I want it to be! I can contact mt tutors any time during the weekdays via e-mail, or message.

There were many power issues during my first semester, causing full power loss for up to 3 days and resulting in alternative accommodation. We only have one working oven in our kitchen too, which will hopefully be resolved soon. The staff are very friendly, however, and always add some flair to your typical day!

The best aspect of my course is the head of the department. He is a professional in every way, an excellent musician and an inspiring teacher. With all these advantages, in my opinion, he has very important features such as communicativeness, kindness and modesty. On the bad side, it's hard for me to mention anything

I think the location is on point - neither too far nor too close. In my case I commute from Rugby and the connection to the M6 ​​motorway is great!

Takes a while for marks to get back in from tutors however the facilities and support we get from the conservatoire is impressive and well worth the money! We get an hour a week of 1-1 tutoring that would cost me over £80 a week privately! As well as access to multi million pound facilities.
