The uni experience has been good overall. Once you get used to the portal and find a way of working which suits you, it's easy to use and navigate. The module content is overall good, there are a couple of modules which aren't strictly graphic design (essays and movie making) but the majority are helpful and tailored to the learning process.
There is a complete area dedicated to career development with a portal to help people. Some modules are also angled towards self identity with industry style briefs.
The best thing about the course being distance is that you can study at your time, at the pace which works best for you. The worst thing about the way the course is taught is that some small areas of work needed for assessment, the theory content is not covered. There is also a strong word count limit which is difficult to meet.
In terms of the online portal, it is easy and quick to navigate through with people at hand to help if need be.
Tutors are easy to get hold of when you may have questions. Feedback is dependant on each tutor in that the quality varies but overall it's okay. There is a support email which is also quick to respond for any problems.
I must admit that my experience from the beginning is very good, indeed I started in October 2017 and I'm really good in this program that requires a lot of effort and sacrifice. But the presence, the dynamism and the commitment of the students support, tutors, and the seriousness of the university and the students are very motivating and allowed me to hold on! I am happy, I wish that my module of Research Project is as well followed to allow me to finish in perfection this Master I hold with all my heart.
Seminars are organized online like webinar, computers challenges are organized recently, coaching exists, articles are published, this strategy should be strengthen a little more for those who are far from the United Kingdom as we in sub-Saharan Africa.
What I like most is the dynamic and fast interaction of the tutor whenever I need him. For distance and online training I understand that this is the first and this is essential. It also requires maximum access to training material in terms of documentation. The quality and completeness of courses resources dispensed. Conversely these voids is obviously what I hate the most
As a distance student, the facilities are good globally with tutor, student support and learner forum.
As a distance student, this question is N/A.
Very good specially for my last module.
Very good. Nothing I cannot complaint about. The online services is very well structured. The online library is very good packed up of all articles and reports you need.
By having a job description board, and to make modules with accurate content, ready for your career
I do all online. So to me, it is the best form to do it. I can work, I can study, I can combine it with my personal life and preferences.
I do online
I do online
Amazing. I am so impressed with Arden, the quality of the material, the competence of the tutors, the resource library. Absolutely love it. If you are considering studying, even if you are working full time and time seems scarce, DO IT. Arden is amazing and the support you get, is invaluable.
There are many forums but I havent personally made use of them. I run my own business and love it so for me the value has been improving my skills and thereby increasing my personal success and my team's skills in my own business.
I love the way in which the lessons are laid out, the format of the assessments and the general structure. The tutors are amazingly competent and always available. I'm not mad about the academic reading but I understand that it is important, just not my personal preference.
Not sure, I study online. I'm in South Africa, they are UK. But judging by the course quality, must be good!
Dont know. Online student.
Amazing support from the tutors. At my course level, students don't engage that much with each other, and I personally don't miss that. I think the tutors are of an exceptionally high quality.
With Arden, I saw it as timely. I would like to say that, with this institution, their future is bright. I can attest that since my enrolment at Arden, a lot of changes had taken place especially my interaction with people. Friends and work colleagues see me as adviser, counsellor and as a consolation in the manner I approach their individual questions of their life experiences, and spiritually too.
Arden University, is one most distinguished among millions of learning institutions world over. The academic materials are enticing to all levels of learners and friendly to work around. The library is class for academic materials. The Tutors are friendly and cooperating. The whole learning environment is accommodating. I foresee greater heights with Arden.
I like the course materials the most. The list is what I refer to as, less interaction on the course discussion rubrics. There is to set policy that will encourage this, and set baseline that a student has to contribute to the course. This will encourage students to interact and share knowledge.
Great. I have more confidence in my studies at Arden university and i am pretty sure that in coming students we have an excellent support. Arden university have all resources.
By giving excellent academic learning and skills.
My experience so far at the University is awesome starting from the tutors, student support centre, and counselling giving to students when they are stress regarding any particular issues.
The course modules are designed to help me gain an understanding in health care sector and how to employ transferable skills in working environment. During the period of my studies, the University provides information about work placements.
I like the way this course is structured.
Facilities are good to use.
It hard sometimes in getting into city because of amount of populace travelling on the public transport, otherwise is a great experience.
It's my first time studying and undergraduate degree, so I'm loving it. Students are from various backgrounds and age brackets, which brings a diverse atmosphere.
Great and amazing Law programme, the tutor and study support team have been fantastic. LLB programme is well designed equipping students with professional law skills, being them the concepts, reading or writing skills.
My course is blended, meaning a mixture of online and on campus classes. I love the on campus classes because help me to better understand the subjects and materials.
Arden University at tower hill has top facilities, I love the location and building layout. Lecture rooms could come equipped with temperature control, as an improving remark.
I love Tower Hill campus, I enjoy the city vibe.
Horrible service, horrible university.
nothing at all
Expected a whole lot more, being a UK university in Berlin. My imagination was definitely cut short with the reality of what is currently on ground. The facilities in classroom are in place for decent learning but I imagined a campus, a student environment that will provide social life, sporting and recreational activities. A campus with student residence (which should have been optional).
Basically by understanding/applying the fundamentals before, during and after projects. All companies embark on projects, it just varies in magnitude depending on the company size and task at hand. Knowledge received from the institution has aided in upgrading my psyche in terms of the utmost importance of timely project execution and completion, which is an integral part of successful organisations
One or two tutors fell below my expectations in terms of lacking teaching skills. There was a total lack of imaginative ability on the part of the tutor to spur our thinking ability that would have enhanced critical thinking. On the other hand, another tutor was able to always highlight global examples, which aided in provoking taught processes that encouraged idea formulation.
It is just a campus, a couple of classrooms and an administrative office so it is fair I guess. it has the basics
Very challenging initially especially with accommodation. But with time, one was able to cope and adapt
Tutor feedback was good, but not with all tutors. In terms of counselling, it was basically about referring to someone, an organisation or institution. The assistance offered was indirect.
