This is a very good specialised film school. The teachers are all very kind and friendly and genuinely passionate about that they do. All of the work assigned feels purposeful and is all in preparation for your portfolio when you leave. The work life balance is good and manageable and it’s overall a very enjoyable place to be.

Industry equipment kept available for all the students to use, and all the extra-curriculars, networking events and how inclusive CFS is makes it great place to learn filmmaking.

It is not a place to study at all, tutors don't know the subjects they are teaching, the school doesn't care, students give up in the middle of the year and who is left is just there to get the paperwork with no real interested in doing things and experimenting. Depressing. Everything can be improved.

_we had a guy from admin to give us our first class on editing (he showed us a youtube video, class lasted the whole day) _we had a class on producing lead by a man who never worked in the uk and that spent the last 8 years being a stay home dad, needless to say he had no clue why and for what he was there (his answer to the question, "how do we go about producing short films?", was "there is no market for short films, and is not worth making films with less than 1/2 million [dollars]"). To say clueless was actually a compliment

Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

Haven't enjoyed most modules/courses. Considering the cost, it's not worth it
