The best aspect for me is the location. I love being so close to Brighton and Stanmer park. There have been times where I have felt I could use with more support/ input from lecturers or tutors this term and I have felt very overwhelmed and burnt out adjusting to the new style of learning. Maybe for the first term students could receive more guidance if they feel necessary?

Law - LLB (Hons)

Sussex uni is awesome! It's a nice, green, quiet campus. Just a 10 minute train journey away, or 25 minutes on bus, is Brighton city centre - an amazing city with a great beach. The uni offers lots of support for students e.g. for wellbeing and also support for disabled students. Every student is assigned a personal academic tutor who is the same person for the entirety of your degree and who writes any references for you. I love my Law (LLB) Hons course, it's super interesting, relevant and practical e.g for pursuing a career in law. I get emails all the time about opportunities and events specifically for law students, focused on careers and employability. Teaching is great, lectures and seminars, are great. Every lecture is recorded so if you can't make or just want to watch it back it's really useful. Staff really want you to do well and will always endeavour to help or answer any questions / concerns you have. We have access to all the resources for every module and reading lists, on a platform called Canvas which is super handy and neat and tidy - everything is in one place.

Psychology

I’m not sure. The atmosphere is always great and there’s always loads of stuff to do. I also like the little food stalls in the students union square.
