Womens Studies postgraduate degrees in Scotland

I think the university has a lot of good societies and clubs for students to join, making it easier to meet people and make friends. All the lecturers and staff are really engaged in our learning, they want to support us to do our best and try to make adjustments to the course/assignments where they can to help us. I do think the buildings could be better for people with disabilities, such as more automatic doors, ensuring lift maintenance is a priority and putting card scanners for doors in a accessible location. I also think it would be good if there was options to pick up extra modules or tutoring for those that need help with English or want extra help/studies on certain elements of their course or want to learn something new on the side.

Student safety and community feel is very strong. Lots of history surrounding the university and the town is beautiful. To improve I would have better transport for student to move between town and the nearest cities (like Edinburgh), better nightlife for the students and more accomodation.

Studying at University of Aberdeen has been a truly rewarding experience because of its supportive academic environment, knowledgeable staff, and diverse international community. The university encourages independent thinking and research development while also providing students with guidance and opportunities to grow both academically and personally. One area that could always be further improved is expanding student support and social spaces even more, but overall it remains an inspiring and welcoming place to study.
