Teaching and Training Methods postgraduate degrees in All England

Everyone I have met has been friendly and helpful. There are plenty of societies to join and the student union bar is great for a bit of socialisation on the side. I wish there were more green spaces to sit and quiet areas like the library dotted around. Parking is a bit hit and miss but there's plenty of buses.

Good student life, city is easy to navigate Resources for help could be better advertised More mock exams should be made available and more instructions on how to structure exam questions/what is needed to get a first More knowledge on how many marks needed for certain grades could be made more known

I have really enjoyed the friends I have made and the opportunities for joining clubs, societies and activities around campus and the city. I live in Stockbridge, and think that benches in the middle square would be helpful as sometimes you would like to get out of the flat, but don’t want to have to walk all the way to town, or the parks. Especially now that the weather is nicer, I think it would be beneficial.

The university is diversified and inclusive, welcoming international student from all over the world, with staff who are ready to listen and create a bespoke learning experience for student The ambience if the university is serene, feee from urban stress and traffic hereby creating a relaxed environment For learning. The university has a broad range of campus activities to build the socio-academic lifestyle of student and prepare them for the world outside the university

The best aspects about my uni experience is how much support I’m open to. From lecturers’ support to the support from HSU and hallam help, I love it here. My worst aspects are the assessments. In my country, i was used to exams and not assessments but it’s not all that bad

The commute links are very convenient as someone who has to travel from peripheries of Manchester .St James campus is very arranged and plentiful spaces and resources for students like myself however I must say there isn’t much of a social aspect example societies or events going on I believe due to it not being Edge Hills main campus However since my course is placement based when we do arrive to campus we naturally socialise and she one another’s experiences .Overall Univeristy social aspect is amazing considering lots of places to go since on Oxford Road Would be nice to have some events or even go to Main campus as a whole

WIFI is absolutely awful and there are many dead zones around campus. How can a top-level engineering university provide such poor internet connection, especially when all of our assignments are internet based and due online? I am constantly searching for places around campus with any useable connection and the VPN speeds when you're off campus are just unusable. It's the year 2024. How have we not figured this out yet? It's absolutely unaccusable. You have the money to build an entire new campus, but can't fix the internet at your main campus? Awful.
